Mated To My Childhood Bully

Killing For Power

Clarissa ran into the old cabin. She had followed Rex here as discretely as she could and she has also witnessed the things that happened.

She could not do anything but she decided to at least help little Sana.

Running into a corner of the cabin, she found the little girl still asleep, oblivious if everything that had been happening.

Clarissa scooped her into her arms and immediately fled the cabin. She could not risk Rex coming back to the cabin and finding her, she knew Rex could kill Sana and she did not want that.

Sana’s eyes opened as Clarissa ran through the bushes.

“Miss… Miss Clarissa?” She mumbled and Clarissa let out a sigh.

“Where is my mommy? Where are you taking me to?” She asked.

“Listen to me, Sana. Mommy is in danger right now and I have to get you out of danger”

“Mommy is in danger? What is wrong? Please… Please save mommy” tears filled the eyes of the little girl

Clarissa stopped running and patted the little girl soothingly.

“Mommy is a strong woman, she is going to be fine. You just have to stay strong for her, okay?” She asked but Sana could not even give a response as fear for Hazel had taken over her mind.

“Now, I will shift into my wolf form. Once I do so, climb onto my back so we can leave here as fast as possible, okay?” She asked, looking around.

Sana nodded in understanding and Clarissa shifted into her wolf form.

Sana climbed onto her furry back and leaned down, holding tightly onto her fur as Clarissa began to race through the bushes with the little girl on her back.

She could not save Hazel but at least she could help by saving the little girl that Hazel loved.

Hazel only had a nanosecond to get out of the way of the bullet which she sucessfully did.

Greater shock spread across her face as the gun was redirected at her.

“Axel, what is wrong with you?! What has happened with you?!” She asked, her voice raising but there was no response to her question as he fired at her again.

Hazel sprinted out of the cabin and he ran after her, firing shots after shots at her, not even giving her a second to say a word.

Hazel continued running, away from the man she loved and the pack that she grown up.

Her mind went back to Sana and she stopped running, turning backwards but that single second of stopping was all it took for a bullet to penetrate her left leg.

She let out a howl of pain but quickly continued with running, trying not to let the pain take over her.Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.

She continued running, only being able to hope that Sana would remain safe.

She continued running until she got to the border of the pack.

She looked back and found the man she loved still behind her, approaching her with nothing in his eyes but bloodlust.

Hazel closed her eyes, tears rolling down as she ran out of the pack into the next pack, the Green Moon Pack, the pack of Alpha Damien.

Shifting into her wolf form, she growled and continued to run away, deeper into the Green Moon Pack. That was the only thing she could do at the moment, the only thing.

Rex stopped as he saw her running deeper into the Green Moon Pack. He could not go after her further. He feared getting caught by Alpha Damien if he went deeper into the pack.

Alpha Damien would most probably eliminate him. He could not take that risk so he took steps backwards with a heavy breath.

“One day, Hazel. Very soon, you will lose your life in my hands and I will become the strongest Alpha!”

“Hazel” Axel called as he knocked softly on the door of the cabin but there was no response.

“Pretty head” he pushed the door and was surprised to find the door opened.

He walked into the cabin, his eyes roaming the quiet, dark cabin.

“Hazel” he called her name out once more but there was still no response from anyone.

Her scent was missing from the cabin.

His brows arched as he came to the realization that there was no one in the cabin, absolutely no one.

He ran through the cabin, checking through the entire place and his jaw dropped as he realized that it was the truth, she had left the place or maybe… She had been taken away.

But he did not have to guess for too long because he soon heard a voice behind him.

“Axel” it was her voice.

He turned towards her, and let out a heavy breath, glad to see her.

He ran out of the cabin to where she was standing and hugged her tightly.

“What’s wrong with you? Why did you scare me that much? Where is Sana?” He questioned.

Rex cringed under his touch. Yes, it was Rex and the effect of the potion so Axel was not seeing Rex in front of him, the one he was seeing was the one he loved the most, Hazel.

Rex pulled away from the hug and took steps backwards.

“I already left and I am just here to tell you it is over” he said to Axel, under the pretense of being Hazel.

“Over? What is over?”

“This entire love of a thing. I will follow my destiny, Axel. My destiny to lead my white wolves out of your pack, I will follow that destiny”

Axel’s eyes blinked as if he was trying to comprehend what she was saying to him.

“I… Do not seem to perfectly for understand you, Hazel. What do you fucking mean?!”

“I meant what I said, Axel! We are ending it all! Now! I do not want you anymore and you should also get rid of all thoughts of us being together that may be in your head and…..”

Axel reached forward and pressed his lips hard on her lips.

Rex’s eyes widened as Axel held him tightly, kissing him hard.

Rex eventually pulled out of his grip but Axel noted something, the scent of her was faint after all Rex could only use the perfume that Hazel usually used but Axel was too into what she was saying more than the scent of her.

“Do not kiss me!” Rex half yelled at him.

“I will! Because you are my woman!”

“I am not! Not anymore!” Rex wiped his lips and took more steps backwards.

“In the future, we might have to meet on a battlefield while I lead my people out of the slavery that your pack has plunged them into. I hope by then, you would have dumped any hope of us coming together as I would have done”

“What the heck are you talking about, Hazel?!”

But there was no response as Rex shifted and began to run into the woods.

Axel shifted equally and ran after the one he thought was his love, unwilling to let go of her in this lifetime and even if there was a next.

He continued to chase after her until he suddenly could not see anymore…. There was no traces of her in the dark woods.

Rex had used a potion that his mother had given him instructions to make and that potion had made him invincible for a limited time.

But to Axel, the love of his life was gone. She had left him.

And to Hazel, the love of her life had betrayed her. He had tried killing her for power.
