Mated To My Childhood Bully

Give His Body Back

Hazel got up from her seat with alarm.

“What did I just hear you say?” She rasped, her eyes now blaring the scary white.

The man who had announced the news quickly took steps backwards not wanting to suffer the wrath of repeating his information.

“I asked you a question! What did you just say?!” Hazel asked again.

“I…. We… We can’t find the body of Alpha Axel. We… we have it delivered to us an hour ago but suddenly it’s gone.” His voice was shaky as he spoke.

“How could you have been careless with the body of the Alpha?!” Davis yelled.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“We are sorry” the three men fell on their knees and bowed their heads not wanting death to be their portion.

“Please pardon us…. We… We really have no idea how it happened” one of them cried.

“I want his body found. Spread people all over the entire pack and into the surrounding packs. I want his body found before the sun rises!” Hazel ordered and almost immediately, the three men scampered into the car.

“I… I can’t stay here myself. I need to find him. I need to find his body” she muttered and walked towards the car.

“Hazel” the wolf doctor called her name but she gave no response and rushed into the car.

“You can’t let her drive in that state!” The wolf doctor yelled at Davis who immediately sprang into motion and rushed over to the driver’s seat.

“Let me be!” Hazel half screamed at him.

“You want to find him? Alright. But let me do the driving” he offered and with a lot of reluctance, Hazel slowly moved over to the other seat of the car letting Davis whose head was clearer take over the driving.

Davis quickly ignited the car into motion and sped away but his speed was not enough for Hazel.

“Drive faster”

“To where? Where are we going to? Where are we going to search?” Davis asked not knowing where exactly he was supposed to drive faster to.

“Anywhere! Anywhere at all! I want to search everywhere for him. I have to… I have to find his body. We need to do this” she was slowly breaking down into tears once more.

“Where do you think his body could be?” Hazel asked Davis.

“For now, Axel is dead… His body cannot move on its own. It means that someone stole his body away.”

“I know that! But who stole it? And… And where is it at the moment?” She cried out.

“Wherever it is, it should still be around. It would never be easy to sneak out the body of Alpha Axel or even any body and also the theft happened an hour ago. Whoever took it must not have gone far”

Hazel took her fingers to her mouth and began biting on it, going into a nail biting frenzy.

“Calm down, Hazel” Davis tried to comfort her but Hazel was only trying hard to think about who could have stolen the body.

“Stop! Stop the car!” She yelled in such a terrifying manner that Davis quickly slammed his leg on the brakes, bringing the car to a halt.

As soon as the car stopped, Hazel was on top of him, her arm against his neck.

“Tell me, did you steal Axel’s body away just to make sure that I do not go through with this?” She asked as she was suspecting Davis of stealing the body away.

The one who took the body away could only gave one goal and that was to ensure that she did not lose her life for Axel to wake up and Davis had been one person who strongly opposed her idea of giving up her life for him so of course, he was a major suspect in her mind.

“Tell me now” she requested again.

“How could you even think that I would do such? Yes, I do not want you to kill yourself for Axel to come back to life but I have tried talking you out of it and you still want to go through with it. I would not try out such petty tricks as stealing his body away and I have been with you guys all these while. I also left to pick the moon stone. When would I have had the time to steal his body away?” He questioned.

“You are the beta of the pack. You could send someone to do your works for you, couldn’t you? Tell me now, you did it, right?” She asked.

“I did not! I would never do such! Deep inside of me, I am glad that Axel is coming back to life. I am just sad that you have to lose your life for it. I would never steal Axel’s body away” his eyes seemed very sincere and slowly, Hazel let go of him.

She sat back on her seat and let out a heavy breath.

“Drive back to the mansion” she whispered and Davis sighed heavily before igniting the car back into motion.

“What are we going back to the mansion for?” He asked as he drove off.

“If you did not take Axel’s body then it would be Damien. He does not want me to do this. It’s a surprise that he seemed so calm when I was leaving. It was because he had this trick up his sleeve. I am going to get back Axel’s body from him and pull through with this”

Davis glanced at Hazel and sighed heavily before stepping on the accelerator letting the car speed through the darkness of the night.

The drive was quite long but they got there and Hazel was the first to jump out of the car and run into the mansion.

“Damien!” She called loudly and found him sitting on the chair, his head bowed in worry.

“Hazel, you are back? You changed your mind?” He asked.

“Change my mind?” She scoffed and stretched out her both arms.

“Where is Axel’s body? Give back his body right now”

“Axel’s body?” Damien’s brows knitted together in confusion.
