Chapter 1547
Keiran strolled into his lounge, casually shrugging off his suit jacket. He was undeniably attractive, though a bit forgetful and not always the best at picking up on others' feelings. Still, he had plenty of good qualities.
Chase watched him for a moment, then let out a deep sigh. "Keiran, I've been hanging around you for ages, and honestly, it feels like we've lost our spark."
Keiran's eyes flickered with confusion. Who knew friendships needed sparks? But what Chase really wanted was for Keiran to suggest something new to do together or maybe even deepen their bond.
Chase sighed again. "We're drifting apart, Keiran. Any ideas on how to spice things up?"
Keiran looked up, giving Chase a serious look before suddenly saying, "Alright, how about this?"
Chase's eyes brightened, leaning in with anticipation. "What if I play your grandpa on Monday, your dad on Tuesday, your brother on Wednesday, your grandson on Thursday, and from Friday to Sunday, we try out other roles? That way, there's always something fresh. What do you think?" Classic Keiran, always full of surprises. Chase nearly choked on his own breath. How could someone so good-looking come up with such a silly idea?
Chase didn't respond, just moved to sit down quietly. Keiran wasn't the type to coddle, so he focused back on his script.
Chase, restless and irritated on the couch, sent a text to Dustin. "Hey man, you're living the dream with your kids and loving wife, while I'm over here feeling like my heart's turning to stone."
Sticking around Keiran was making him feel increasingly bleak. Dustin, caught up in wedding preparations with Emma, wasn't paying much attention to their drama. Even Sarah and Raymond wouldn't approve of him getting involved.
Dustin replied briefly, "Only you could put up with that guy."
Keiran seemed emotionally untouchable. Feeling deflated, Chase leaned back, his gaze lingering on Keiran before blurting out, "Keiran, let's have a kid."
Maybe a child could bring them closer. Keiran, still engrossed in his script, replied casually, "Whose kid would give you one?"noveldrama
"I mean, let's have one together."
"Together? Still, no one's giving you one."
Chase's eyelashes trembled as he took a deep breath. "Let's make a baby by, you know, sleeping together."
Keiran looked up, puzzled. "How does sleeping give you a baby? You think someone will hand you a baby for taking a nap?"
Chase felt like he was about to pass out, collapsing onto the couch. Seeing his friend's distress, Keiran set the script aside. "Chase, you okay?" Chase turned his head away, eyes reddening. "I'm fine. With our IQ, maybe it's best we don't have kids."
Realizing he might have upset him, Keiran thought of saying more but decided against it. His attempts at conversation always seemed to backfire. Chase, frustrated and heartbroken, grabbed a pillow and pretended to sleep. Keiran fetched a blanket and gently covered him.
Meanwhile, Aubree was about to

hop in her car when suddenly, a bucket of ink splashed over her, drenching her from head to toe in black even covering her face, making it hard to see. The ink stung her eyes, making her want to cry.
In that instant, she caught sight of the culprit's car-it was from the Clements family. No doubt Desiree's doing. Aubree tried to wipe the ink off her face, but it only smeared more, especially as the sound of smartphone cameras clicking surrounded her.
Her embarrassing moment was being captured, and with her current fame, she was bound to trend online again. Feeling helpless, she was about to give up when suddenly, a jacket was draped over her head. She recognized the scent; it was Andrew.
What do you think?
