Marry You Like A Thief

Chapter 31 Press Conference (Part One)

Chapter 31 Press Conference (Part One)

"I know you have won a prize for a role in a movie recently. Do you think yourself now successful?

You've transferred from a young model who always get laid to an actress, haven't you?

You still pretend to be pure and innocent. How dare you claim not to sleep with rich guys after you had

done it? Ridiculous!" Riley picked up her bag and said to Maggie before she left.

Staring at her receding figure, Maggie bit her lips tightly.

The waiter had already heard the broken glass in the private room. He was so scared that he dared not

move forward. When he saw Riley glaring at him, he was even more stunned. Was there a murder

inside? Should he call the police? The waiter popped his head into the room, trembling. Then he took a

relief. Nothing serious happened in the room but another good-looking lady who was sitting there

expressionlessly.

In Vivian's home. Jeffrey put the empty bowl on the plate beside her and felt lucky that Vivian

recovered soon. Before leaving, the private doctor told him to observe her mind and dispel the worries

in time to make her recover faster.

"Tissue." Vivian stretched out her hand to him and pouted.

Hearing her order, Jeffrey didn't hand it to her, but wiped her mouth in person. It was the first time that

he felt it was so interesting to take care of a patient. It was like playing with a doll in his childhood, just

the doll was more beautiful and alive. He ravaged Vivian's face fiercely and wouldn't stop until she tried

her best to resist.

But this patient must be Vivian. If it was someone else, he would not be happy and would not want to

talk to so many things. He was always a person out of patience easily.

"Vivian, let's play a game." Jeffrey proposed.

"Hmm? Okay, what game? " As soon as Vivian heard the game, her eyes lit up. She had been lying at

home, bored to death, and there were few people to talk with her. She just turned on the computer to

surf the micro-blog, micro-blog, and micro-blog...

It was rare for her to get invitation from Jeffrey to play games with him. She was curious about what

kind of game could make Mr. Jeffrey speak out.

"In the game of asking questions, if you refuse to answer, you will lose. Of course, if you lose, there will

be a corresponding punishment." Jeffrey said the game rule cunningly. Vivian was trapped by Jeffrey

before she could react.

"Your wound has something to do with Riley? You can keep silent." Jeffrey threw out the first question

right away.

"……" Hearing that, Vivian was a little stunned but she didn't answer. Let her take the punishment then.

She didn't want to talk about that night at all. It was just an accident. There was no need to make a

fuss.

Jeffrey took her to choose keeping silent. He bent down and kissed her on the lips.

"Hmm..." With her eyes wide open, Vivian tried to push him away in disbelief. However, due to the huge

difference in strength between the man and the woman, she had to give up struggling. She even

gradually responded to him.

Feeling Vivian's responses, Jeffrey gradually became gentle from the overbearing kiss. Vivian met his

deep eyes for a long time before he let go of her.

"This is punishment." Said Jeffrey with a big smile. He didn't mind if she kept silent all through the

game.

Vivian was annoyed and until now had she realized that she had fallen into the trap of a wolf! Silence is

gold, isn't it? But she felt that she was at a disadvantage!

She was grateful to Jeffrey for saving her life that night. At that time, she even wanted to repay his

kindness. Now thinking about it, she felt that she was too simple and naive.

"But, I still have to thank you. Otherwise, if I were alone, I'm afraid I would really not be able to bear

everyone's gaze..."

Hearing what Vivian murmured, Jeffrey felt satisfied both physically and mentally. This woman knew

how to be grateful. Then, the game went on.

In the CEO's office, the assistant handed a document to Jeffrey and stood aside respectfully.

"Thank you."

Jeffrey couldn't wait to unfold the Kraft paper and took out several pieces. He looked at them carefully

from head to toe until he put them down, frowning.

Vivian's reaction was within his expectation. She would never tell him what happened that night, so he

had to investigate it by himself.

If it was really Riley, Jay would definitely arrange something to protect his "good" wife first!

In this way, Vivian would suffer losses alone without being able to let others know. It was really unfair to

her. This material belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.

However, the result of the investigation was still unclear. Although they had bought the surveillance

video at the first time, the camera was blurred, or the light was dim, and the position of the two people

was exactly in such a disadvantageous area.

Jeffrey asked slowly, "How is it going?"

"Everything is waiting for your order. You can start at any time." The assistant replied immediately.

"Okay. Block the headlines right away and purchase those arrogant newspaper agencies!" Jeffrey

stood up, walked to the French window and said coldly.

The assistant couldn't see his facial expression, but he could still feel the coldness in the air.

"I got it."

"Remember to hold a press conference this afternoon. I want to personally clarify this matter." I can't let

Vivian get involved in this storm!

"Mr. Jeffrey..." If the CEO held a press conference, wouldn't it acquiesce in the relationship between the

two? This would make the reporters succeed again and mess it up! The assistant was so worried.

"It's alright. I know what I'm doing, but what I've done is meaningful, so you don't have to worry." Jeffrey

said calmly.

The assistant nodded, turned around, and pushed the door open to walk out.

In the afternoon, a press conference was held as scheduled. Jeffrey straightened his collar, stared at

himself in the mirror, and smiled.

"Ring, ring, ring..." The familiar ringtone came. He picked up the phone unhappily, looked at the note,

paused, and pressed the answer button.

"Mr. Jeffrey, Mr. Lim came to the company and said he had business to deal with you. Didn't he know

that you were going to hold a press conference?" The assistant asked him anxiously on the other end

of the phone.
