Chapter 177

Chapter 177

Stephanie let out a sigh, “Once I wanted to say it, but after being interrupted, I didn’t want to say it because I was afraid that he would be stressed. Now that this happened, I don’t want him to know.”

Julianna hugged Stephanie. Stephie, you are under a lot of pressure. If you have something on your mind in the future. please tell me! Don’t go through that alone.”

“Okay” Stephanie curled her lips.

Julianna filled her glass with wine and toasted Stephanie, “Stephie, I apologize for falling out with you in my previous life. How could I be such an asshole to give up on you? Knowing that Douglas and Florence are bastards, how can I let you jump into the abyss? I really want to slap myself in the previous life. Stephie, we will be best friends in this life and the next!”

Stephanie also picked up her glass and clinked glasses with Julianna. The glasses made a crisp sound. “Good, forever friends.”

They drank wine and hugged each other again, crying.

Years later, when Stephanie recalled what had happened tonight she still wore a faint smile.

However, that would be a story for later.

Meanwhile, upstairs.

Vincent and Graham were sitting on cane chairs in front of the floor–to–ceiling window, drinking beer. © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

After they clinked their glasses, Graham asked, “What are you going to do if you can’t remove the parasite?” Vincent’s hand holding the can gradually clenched. “I don’t know, but I don’t want to hold Stephie back

Graham paused and looked at Vincent. “What do you mean?”

“It means it literally,” said Vincent.

Graham frowned, “You want to give up your relationship?”

Vincent poured the beer down his throat and then squeezed the empty can. He looked at the distant darkness, which made him almost stop breathing,

Graham asked again, “Are you willing to let Stephanie leave you? Are you willing to see her find another man? Are you willing to spend the rest of your life without her by your side?”

“So what? Am I going to selfishly trap her by my side?”

Graham licked his back teeth on the tip of his tongue. “Did you ask Stephanie? Do you know what she thinks?”

Vincent felt heartbroken. “I know she won’t give up on me. But can’t give her children and a normal life.”

He looked at Graham and smiled sarcastically, “What’s the use of me like this?”

Graham’s hand holding the can trembled slightly. “Don’t give up until the end, and don’t leave any regrets in your lives.”

Vincent reopened a bottle of beer and poured it directly into his mouth. The cold liquid slid down his throat and rushed into his stomach as if this could paralyze his nerves.

That night, Stephanie and Julianna downstairs fell asleep on the sofa, while Vincent and Graham were drinking until three in the morning

Chapter 177.

Vincent helped Graham, who was sleeping on a cane chair, to the guest bedroom. He returned to the floor–to–ceiling window and started smoking until the sun jumped over the horizon.

The ashtray was full of cigarette butts. It was the first time that Vincent had smoked so heavily.

He thought a lot, glanced at the ashtray, got up with the ashtray, and went into the kitchen. He dumped the cigarette butts in the trash can, then brushed the ashtray clean.

He turned on the ventilation system and went into the bathroom to take a shower.

During this period, he had some impulse. He bit his lips tightly and the smell of fishy sweetness swallowed into his throat.

He turned off the water, pulled on his bathrobe, and walked out without wiping his hair.

Picking up the phone on the table, he dialed a number and said, “Use the dagger punishment.

After he hung up the phone, his eyes turned scarlet.

The bloodthirst factor began to rage in his body, and he knew that he was sick again.

He hurried to find the medicine, but the bottle was empty.

There was only a handful of pills left in Tranquil Garden.

He had to go back and take the medicine, or he didn’t know what would happen.

He hurriedly changed his clothes, and his damp brown hair was still dripping with water.

When he changed his clothes, the whites of his eyes were already bloodshot

The next moment, blue veins burst out on his forehead and his clenched fists. He was like an out–of–control beast, so violent and particularly horrible..

He opened the bedroom door and rushed towards the guest room. With a sense of reason, he knelt on the ground in pain, as if tens of thousands of ants were eating his internal organs.

He wanted to find a vent to release, and he crawled like a beast towards the guest room, but the reason told him not.

Just then, there was a beep at the door.

Stephanie didn’t expect to see such a scene as soon as she opened the door.

She was stunned for a moment, then ran over, and crouched down. “Vincent, what’s wrong?”

Vincent had lost control of his behavior. He reached out, grabbed Stephanie’s neck, and began to exert force.

Stephanie’s face quickly turned red, and the veins on her forehead were obvious.

A strong sense of suffocation came. Stephanie felt that she was about to black out. She reached out to hook Vincent’s neck and tried to press the acupoints on the back of his neck, but her hands began to feel weak.

At that critical moment, a figure rushed over and raised his hand to hit the back of Vincent’s neck.

Vincent loosened his grip and fell to the ground.

Stephanie coughed violently, breathing like a dying fish.

Graham was astounded. He faintly heard a man’s suppressed voice coming from the living room. He struggled to get up from bed, only to see Vincent strangle Stephanie as soon as he arrived at the door of his room.

He was still dizzy and almost fell when he rushed over.

“What’s going on? How did he become like this?”

Stephanie shook her head and felt Vincent’s pulse with discomfort.

“The pulse is extremely chaotic. It seems to be a disease that has lasted for many years. It’s just that I have felt his pulse before, and I didn’t find such a pulse at all! Why?”

“I’ve never seen Vincent like this,” Graham said.

Stephanie closed her eyes. “He must have taken medicine to suppress it. Help me tie him up. I’ll give him some acupuncture first. Ask him where the medicine is when he wakes up

“Okay,” answered Graham.

After what happened, Graham was no longer sleepy.

He stood aside and watched Stephanie treat Vincent.

Stephanie looked at him and asked, “Did he get any irritation last night?”

Graham promised Vincent not to say anything, but seeing Vincent’s situation, he felt it necessary to tell Stephanie.

“Last night we talked about the parasite thing. Vincent felt that if he couldn’t remove the parasite, he would break

Stephanie was shocked. “Did he say that?

Graham nodded. “Maybe he fell ill because of the stress. Although Vincent was born into a rich family like the Fletcher family, he suffered a lot when he was young. His eldest brother sent people to assassinate him many times, but for the sake of his parents, Vincent endured it. Then he founded Storm Corps, and there was so much to worry about.”

Stephanie looked at Vincent’s pale face and his lips were bitten through. She caressed his cheek heartbrokenly. “I will cure

At that moment, there was a vibrating sound on her phone.

She took it out and found that it was Ronar
