Married at First Sight

Chapter 3772

Erika suggested, "Let's sign the divorce papers first, then handle the formalities. Where are you? I'll bring the papers to you."

Marco replied, "I'm at the hospital. Bring the kids so they can visit their grandpa. It'll lift his spirits."

"Alright," she agreed.

Marco and Erika were both ready to move on. With all that had happened the passing of his mother and his father's hospitalization-Erika's bitterness had faded, and she just wanted to start fresh. She was middle-aged, the kids were grown, and she looked forward to living a life of her own.

As for finding love again, she wasn't sure. If the right person came along, she'd consider it, but for now, she was content with the idea of being independent and happy.

Just thinking about her future brought a smile to her face.

After the call ended, Holden asked Marco, "Was that your wife?"

"Yes," Marco replied. "She wants to know when we can finalize the divorce." Both father and son fell silent.

After a while, Holden sighed, "I didn't set a good example for you. Your wife was once so devoted to you, raising your kids and taking care of the family, but I ruined that. I never taught you any better." Holden wanted to scold Marco, but he knew he was guilty of the same mistakes.

As men, after many years of marriage, they began to seek new excitement instead of appreciating their wives.

They didn't think about divorce because their affairs were just temporary thrills. As long as their wives overlooked them, the marriage could continue.

Marco reflected, "When Shiloh died, Erika gave up on me completely. That night, I was too focused on protecting Shiloh and didn't consider Erika's feelings. If I had, things might have been different." He realized he'd put Shiloh first, leaving Erika to feel betrayed after years of loyalty.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

Marco had lost interest in Erika, drawn to younger women, and started to see her as less appealing. Despite her efforts to keep their bond strong, he grew distant.

Erika had endured his behavior for the sake of their children and the ties between their families. But when he took Shiloh's side against her, it was too much, and she decided to end the marriage. Now, with their family in turmoil, a divorce seemed like the best choice for everyone, especially the kids.
