Making Millions With The Eyes Of God

Making 854

Lilian and the women agreed with Gilmore’s suggestion, nodding their heads in unison.

Since their experiences in the Golden Tower Empire, they had thoroughly enjoyed the dual thrill of admiring exotic sceneries while purging malevolent forces, bringing peace and happiness to the empire and its people,

This journey across the world was filled with meaning for them.

Now, in Aro, the catastrophe that had struck Saint Light kindled their sense of justice and sparked their curiosity to uncover the truth

The entire city had faced a disaster.

Therefore, the idea of finding a hotel for the night was out of the question.

But having come all this way, it wasn’t in their nature to simply turn around and leave.

The question remained, however where would they spend the night?

“Where shall we stay tonight, Gilmore?” Lilian asked, with the rest of the group looking to him for guidance.

Gilmore surveyed the surroundings under the moonlight. Although every building was dark, their eyes were drawn to a few skyscrapers that stood majestically, their grandeur accentuated by the lunar glow.

An idea sparked in Gilmore’s mind, and he said to Lilian and the others, “Let’s make the rooftop terrace of that skyscraper our temporary home for the night!”

He pointed towards one of the imposing buildings bathing in the moonlight.

The women nodded- it seemed like the only viable option for the night

Gilmore then led the women towards the city’s skyscraper.

Landing on the rooftop terrace of the building, which soared over a hundred stories high, they were greeted by a gusty wind that howled across the terrace.

Although the wind was strong at the top of the skyscraper, the rooftop was clean and, thankfully, devoid of any signs of blood left by others.

Gilmore and the women sat down on the rooftop terrace.

Gilmore then channeled his anima

With a rumbling sound, the air vibrated around them.

His anima burst forth, instantly creating a purple light shield that enveloped him and the women within it.

As the purple light shield descended, Lilian, Claire, and the other women immediately felt the fierce wind of the rooftop blocked out by the shield.

Inside, it was as warm as a spring day.

“Everyone, close your eyes and rest. Gather your strength. Tonight, we may have to battle unforeseen dangers,” Gilmore said, looking at Lilian, Claire, and the others

This made the women instantly aware of the peril of staying in the city that night.

They didn’t know what the danger was, and they didn’t ask Gilmire.

They trusted that if Gilmore hadn’t elaborated, they just needed to follow his instructions.

So, they all closed their eyes to meditate in silence.

The rooftop of the skyscraper returned to stillness, with only the sound of the whistling wind.

Time ticked away slowly

Suddenly, Gilmore’s eyes snapped open, a sharp glint appearing in them, as if sensing something amiss.

At that moment, the clouds began to disperse, and the moon reappeared in the sky.

Then, Gilmore saw hundreds of bat–like beings flapping their wide wings and flying toward the city under the moonlight.

As these bat–like beings approached, the air became thick with the scent of blood.

Inside the purple light shield, Lilian, Claire, and the others, who had been meditating, sensed the change in the atmosphere and abruptly opened their eyes.

Then, they were astonished to see creatures like werewolves flying in the sky.

They all froze in shock.

“What are those?” they wondered aloud

“Could this be the danger Gilmore warned us about?”

Where did these bat–like creatures come from?”

Gilmore confirmed their fears, “Yes, these are the dangers we’re facing tonight.

“They’re mutated beings, with wings like bats and bodies like humans, and they all possess the power of cultivation.”

Lilian, Claire, and the other women couldn’t believe that Gilmore, from such a distance, had already discerned everything about these creatures, from their appearance to their strength.

“Then, Gilmore, what level of cultivation do these mutated beings possess?” Claire asked.

Knowing the creatures‘ level would help them gauge whether they were a match for them.

Gilmore responded, “These approaching beings seem not to be the strongest. They are at the beginner’s level and the intermediate level.”

Hearing this, Claire and the others let out a sigh of relief. They were all at the proficient level, so they felt confident about handling these creatures,

“If these creatures dare come close, we’ll leave none of them standing,” Claire declared with a steely look as she eyed the flying beings.

“Don’t worry, they will definitely come to attack us,” Gilmore assured them.

He knew this through God’s Eye. Ever since these bat–like beings had overrun the city and decimated most of the human population, they patrolled the city every night, hunting for any survivors to feed on.

Of course, the surviving humans had taken refuge in a massive underground bunker, making it impossible for the patrolling

creatures to find thein-

However, just because these creatures couldn’t find the people in the underground bunkers didn’t mean they wouldn’t find Gilmore and his group.

Because there they were, on the rooftop of one of the tallest skyscrapers, surrounded by a purple light shield

The werewolves had no trouble spotting them at all.

Indeed, just as Gilmore had finished speaking, they saw the winged creatures in the sky beginning to fly towards the skyscraper where they were.

It went without saying, the purple light shield was a beacon in the dark, catching the attention of the creatures immediately.

Claire, Lilian, and the other women saw the werewolves approaching.

But far from being scared, their eyes sparked with a warrior’s eagerness

These ugly and ferocious beasts had plagued the innocent citizens of the city and now had the audacity to think of them as their next meal.

The women were more than ready to give them a reception they wouldn’t forget.

Swoosh, swoosh, swoosh!

In a swift motion, Claire, Lilian, and the other women rose from the ground, one after another, a formidable fighting spirit and aura radiating from them.

Gilmore, however, sat calmly, still seated on the ground, as casual as a cloud in the breeze, watching the werewolves approach from the sky.

To him, these were just the weakest links in their massive chain.

This was, after all, a good opportunity for Claire, Lilian, and the others to test their battle skills in real combat

And now, as the werewolves arrived, they could take a good look at them up close.

These creatures stood as tall as a grown adult, around six feet, with wolf–like heads and eyes that glinted green with a cold light.

Their muscular arms wielded weapons like bronze hammers, iron rods, and sharp axes.

Behind them, they sported bat–like wings spanning around ten to thirteen feet wide.

The werewolves bared their fang–filled maws and let out spine–chilling roars that could freeze the soul.

With bat–like wings flickering, they zoomed through the air, fast as lightning.

They brandished their weapons, aiming for the purple light shield that enveloped Lilian and her companions.

However, as the werewolves‘ roars thundered and their weapons clashed against the purple light shield, an astounding thing happened.

Boom!

The air shook with a tremor.

Then, a colossal surge of energy suddenly erupted from the purple light shield.

still raised, were instantaneously flung away by the burst of formidable from the purple

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Those werewolves were catapulted into nearby skyscrapers, punching holes through the walls and sending up clouds of dust and debris.

The werewolves still in the air, who had not yet attacked the purple light shield, were visibly shaken by the scene.

Clearly, they had not expected this ordinary–looking purple light shield to pack such a terrifying punch.

At that moment, a werewolf, larger and more menacing than the others, issued a caution to its peers, “Be careful, everyone. Our opponents are human cultivators!”

Lilian, Claire, and the other women couldn’t hide their surprise, Could it be that the werewolves spoke their language?”

“Boss, how should we handle them?” At this moment, the rest of the werewolves turned their gaze to the towering figure clearly their leader.

The leader’s eyes glowed with a blood–red luster, a clear sign of its eagerness to devour Lilian and the others then and there.

“We should keep our distance and attack, the werewolf leader said with a chilling tone.

He had seen with his own eyes how a dozen of his kind had been repelled by the purple light shield.

Thus, he was extremely cautious of the purple light shield.

The werewolf leader didn’t want his subordinates to throw their lives away for nothing.

And attacking from a distance was obviously a way to avoid casualties.

At his command, the werewolves that were initially hovering only about 20 feet above the rooftop of the skyscraper immediately ascended to a height of over 40 feet.

“Attack!” With the increased distance, the werewolf leader gave the order without hesitation.

Dozens of werewolves in the sky, with their bat–like wings flapping, opened their ferocious maws.

A sound like thunder rolled out from their throats..

Then, eggsized orbs of blue light appeared in their mouths.

As soon as these orbs left their jaws, they expanded to the size of soccer balls, radiating an intimidating energy.

These blue energy balls, spat out from the gaping maws of the werewolf, hurtled toward the skyscraper’s rooftop like bolts of lightning, aiming straight for the purple light shield.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The sound of them slicing through the air echoed through the skies.

The clusters of blue orbs that were unleashed struck the purple light shield with the fury of thunderclaps, enough to strike fear into the hearts of any onlooker.

Despite their thunderous impact, these blue orbs did nothing but create a colossal noise against the purple light shield.

The purple light shield stood unscathed, as impenetrable as a fortress of solid gold.

The blue orb attacks, the werewolves‘ own lycan energy, were utterly ineffective against the purple light shield.

It left the aerial assailants dumbfounded.

What they spat out was their werewolf energy.

A single orb of werewolf energy could reduce a skyscraper several hundred yards tall to rubble.

A werewolf could only unleash about ten of these orbs per day because each one was formed from a massive concentration of the werewolf’s vital energy-

If they exceeded that, they’d be drained to the point of endangering their lives.

Yet, after dozens of werewolves unleashed scores of these energy orbs at the purple light shield, it remained intact.

This was alarming for the werewolves.

Had these same orbs been directed at any other part of the city, hundreds of buildings would have been turned to dust in an

instant

But this purple light shield was unbreakable, showcasing its terrifying strength.

Just when the werewolves were reeling from the shock of the purple light shield’s power, something even more startling occurred.

Dozens of werewolf energy blasts struck the purple light shield, but not only did they fail to shatter it, they were astonishingly repelled by the shield’s power.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

The werewolf energy, now rebounding at ten times their original speed, retaliated against the werewolves in the sky.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The impact of the energy on the werewolves created thunderous echoes, which could be heard distinctly.

Caught off guard, the werewolves were struck mid–air, and with patiful howls, they traced parabolas as they fell from the sky

It could be said that this pack of about a hundred werewolves was decimated by the purple light shield without Gilmore lifting a finger.

Is like

Even Lilian and Claire thought to themselves, “Looks like we won’t need to step in, will we?”

At that moment, Gilmore turned to them and said, “These werewolves, though gravely injured by the backlash and plummeting to the ground, have strong regenerative abilities. We must finish them off before they recover from their injuries.”

Lilian, Claire, and the other women understood immediately and said to Gilmore, “Alright, we’ll take care of those wounded werewolves right away.”

With those words, Claire, Lilian, and the rest of the women flew out of the purple light shield and leaped down from the skyscraper’s rooftop.

About fifteen minutes later, Claire, Lilian, and the women returned to the rooftop of the skyscraper.

Together, they reported to Gilmore, “Gilmore, we’ve taken care of the wounded werewolves.

But the leader, he’s gone.”

Just as they finished speaking, Gilmore pointed to something in he distance and said, “Look, he’s already on the run…”

Lilian and Claire immediately looked in the direction he pointed and sure enough, in the sky far from the city, they saw a werewolf flapping its wings, making a swift escape.

Seeing this, Claire couldn’t help but urge Gilmore anxiously, “Gilinore, chase after him, don’t let him get away”

However, Gilmore showed no intention of pursuing, simply saying to Claire, ‘Let him go.”

The women all wore faces of shock.

Regaining her composure, Lilian couldn’t help but ask Gilmore, Why let him escape!”

Gilmore explained, “Let him return to his tribe and master to tell our story.

“When his tribe and master come, we’ll be ready to wipe out these cold–blooded and ruthless werewolves.” Hearing Gilmore’s reasoning, the women finally understood why he had let the werewolf leader go.
