Madam, Your Ex-Husband Is On Call

Chapter 151

Chapter 151

Chapter 151 Bughouse

On the other end of the phone, Anastasia merely let out a cold chuckle.

"Call an ambulance, will you? You'd better send him to a bughouse. He's probably crazy."

Then, she hung up the phone without hesitation. Original from NôvelDrama.Org.

The outcome was quite unexpected for everyone.

They were all dumbfounded, their eyes rounded in disbelief.

They didn't expect Anastasia to be so resolute after being divorced!

Christian's face turned ashen, and the light in his eyes extinguished.

He sat there, emanating an aura of despondency and silence that was palpable to all.

Tobias was at a loss about what to say to comfort him.

He remembered asking how Christian was getting along with Anastasia, to which he had responded

that everything was going smoothly.

Smoothly? Seriously?

Did Christian say it was going smoothly only because he believed so?

Tobias felt somewhat speechless.

Christian struggled to stand up and staggered outside.

He knew that Anastasia wouldn't come even if he got himself drunker.

This heartless woman had no concern for him whatsoever!

Tobias hesitated briefly yet still followed him.

Both of them got into the car.

Christian still didn't say a word, as if Anastasia's words had made him numb.

"Where to?" The driver asked.

Tobias thought for a moment and gave an address.

Christian was consumed by darkness. The indifference and loneliness wrapped around him so tightly

that he found it hard to breathe.

Seeing him like this, Tobias couldn't help but persuade him,

"Chris, maybe Anastasia didn't mean it that way. I probably didn't manage to speak to her properly. I'll

talk to her next time."

Christian looked at him gloomily.

Could he handle drinking this much again next time?

Tobias sighed and scratched his head.

"Women don't easily relent. You have to be persistent," he said.

Christian's eyes grew darker, his brows furrowing with annoyance.

Persistent? Drink until he had a stomach hemorrhage?

"Persistence means finding various ways to make her happy and touched. Like creating encounters,

giving surprises..."

Tobias prattled on with his advice and experiences.

Christian listened attentively, and suddenly he realized he had never done any of these things for

Anastasia. He owed her so much.

A hint of redness crept into the corners of his eyes. Thankfully, the car was dimly lit, so nothing could

be seen.

But Tobias caught a glimpse of it and saw his eyes getting wet.

Tobias stopped talking abruptly, shocked.

He leaned in, closely observing.

"Chris, are you crying?"

He was about to wipe the tears away, but Christian swatted his hand away roughly.

"Leave me alone."

His voice was cold and deep, as if trying to hide something.

Tobias knew what was going on but decided not to comment on it. He pursed his lips and said,

"I won't tell it to anyone. It's too embarrassing."

If Anastasia found out, she'd definitely tease Christian mercilessly.

Christian was speechless.

Under the effect of his chilling aura, the temperature inside the car seemed to drop by several degrees.

Tobias decided to keep quiet.

However, Christian was overwhelmed by alcohol and had no idea what Tobias was saying.

The driver and Tobias helped Christian out of the car together.

But when they reached the building, he seemed steady enough to walk on his own.

Tobias breathed a sigh of relief and told the driver,

"You can go back now. He'll stay at my place tonight."

With that, Tobias led Christian upstairs.

The driver nodded and was about to leave.

Suddenly, a white Porsche pulled up from outside, looking somewhat familiar.

A finely-dressed, exquisite woman stepped out of the car.

It was Anastasia.
