Chapter 36: You’re Her Boyfriend
Chapter 36: You’re Her Boyfriend
What the manager said made the salesgirl alive and dynamic.
She looked at the manager in surprise? Did she promote to assistant manager?
It’s unbelievable! But she knew that manager wouldn’t make fun of this kind of thing. She was so happy
to learn that it was true. Had been working hard for so many years, she finally rewarded for what she
did.
The sudden change made everyone stunned.
“Congratulations!”
Spencer was the one to say “congratulations” to her wholeheartedly.
Spencer felt relieved, it’s fortunate not to get her into trouble.
The salesgirl smiled at her, “Thank you.”
Suddenly, the manager took the gold card from the salesgirl and passed the packed phone and the
card to Spencer, “This sir has paid for it, please keep it!”
Spencer, looking in the direction he indicated, found Lukas and Harris were walking towards them.
Their aura was so imposing that the onlookers subconsciously made way for them.
All of them were looking at Lukas, their eyes were anxious to fix on him.
However, his eyes were so cold that the surrounding atmosphere was seemed to be frozen, which
made people daunt.
Lukas walked in front of Spencer with several strides. And his eyes turned gently instantly, “Which one NôvelDrama.Org © content.
do you like?”
“You should know as you have paid for me!”
She rolled her eyes and took over the tote bag and the card, smiling at him, “Let’s go.”
“OK,” Lukas said lightly, he held her hands naturally.
When his cold hand touched her warm hand, he suddenly felt a strange feeling.
Phoebe was stunned aside.
First, she was irritated by what the manager said; then she was impressed by Lukas.
She didn’t realize it until they left. She shouted to their backs, “Please wait a minute.”
Spencer stopped and turned to see what Phoebe would do.
“Sir, quick question, are you her boyfriend?”
Lukas didn’t say anything as he heard Phoebe’s question, he was just looking at Spencer.
“Do you know who is she?”
Lukas was still silent, he ignored Phoebe.
Phoebe became snippy as the man ignored her two questions, “She has a boyfriend, who is a gang,
don’t be deceived by her appearance.”
In her eyes, this man helped her pay for the phone. It seemed that he was obsessed with her.
She must expose this woman’s history, so the man would dump her.
Phoebe was pondering, “Charlotte has told me that she drugged Spencer, who must be raped.”
Obviously, the man here was with good taste, he must hate the second-hand woman.
But she was barking up the wrong tree. There was darkness flashed in Lucas’s eyes, but he still
ignored her, not even looking at her a look from the beginning to the end.
Which made Phoebe hit the ceiling, why did this man don’t care about the history of his woman?
“Sir, do I make myself clear?” The only possibility she could think of.
The onlookers were curious about their relationship after they heard what Phoebe said.
But in their eyes, the two people were perfect for each other.
Spencer looked at Lucas and glanced at the onlookers, then she fixed her eyes on Phoebe.
She said with a smile, “He is my brother.”
“No way. You didn’t have parents; how could you have a brother?” Phoebe denied.
There was a fierce look shooting at her, which made her back feel chilly. She couldn’t help but feel
scared, this man was so imposing.
Spencer put her hands around Lucas’s waist and she also was leaning on him. Then she looked at
Phoebe with a happy smile.
“Thank you for throwing me out of the Sharp Family, so I could find my brother. His parents are my
parents, his grandpa is my grandpa. Do I make myself clear?”
Lukas looked at Spencer, who was not higher than the height of his chin, he stretched out his hands
and touched her bangs.
His height, appearance, and the feeling---
The onlookers believed what Spencer said and thought they were brother and sister who were in a
good relationship.
But as for what she said--
The onlookers simultaneously looked at Phoebe, “Maybe she was the mother who adopted the girl.”
What a cruel woman! She adopted her then threw her out.
Fortunately, she found her relatives; now she had such a good brother.
Phoebe was stunned, it’s unbelievable. Her head was dominated by what Spencer just said.
Spencer was happy to see her reaction.
She loosened the hands and then held Lucas’s hand. She turned around the left in excitement, she
would skip if there weren’t so many people here, she would feel shy.
Once it was all over Phoebe reacted. Her eyes were envied to turn red as she was watching the three
people leave.
The two men, wearing a tie and lace-up shoes, beside her were definitely not common people.
Phoebe was regretted. She wouldn’t kick her out if she knew Spencer’s background was so strong, and
she would try her best to get along with her.
But now, it was late, they had broken up long time ago.
Thinking of this, she, looking at the almost disappearing back, said through gritted teeth reluctantly, “If I
didn’t bring that much money, the phone should be mine.”
How shameless! The onlookers couldn’t help but give her dirty looks.
Phoebe didn’t turn around till they disappeared. She suddenly heard the manager of Mobile Phone Mall
said to her, “That gentleman has bought the mall. He would like to transfer to you if you want to buy.”
What the manager said surprised the onlookers.
They knew how much to buy the mall.
To buy the Mall was taken on lightly for this man, but for some people who would never buy it even with
all their wealth.
They were surprised at the awful fact, guessing the man’s identity.
But Phoebe felt she was slapped on her face hard, her face was on fire.
She couldn’t afford to buy a shop even sold herself, not mention to the whole Mall.
She was staring at by the smiling manager. Pretending not to hear what he said, she lowered her head
and planned to sneak away.
Thinking of Taylor was here too, she hurried to look around and wanted to ask him to leave, but she
couldn’t find him.
At that moment, Phoebe realized that he left long ago because he felt embarrassed for her.
She was angry to learn that and she left in anger.
When the onlookers left, the manager said to the salesgirl who flattered Lucas just now, “The
gentleman is Mr. Powell, he just fired you. Pack your stuff and go.”
He was still shaken, and he didn’t expect the president to check up on.
Mr. Powell?
The two salesgirls were stunned; how could they know the gentleman was Mr. Powell?
The other salesgirl tried to beg him, “Sir, actually---”
“You don’t have to say. We have no choice but to obey his order.”
The manager interrupted her before she finished.
The salesgirl just laughed at herself. As she had bitten off more than she could chew, and she
deserved to be fired. She replied in a dejected voice and walked forward.
At this time, the manager’s phone rang. He said to the leaving salesgirl, “Now you can stay here, the
lady, just bought the phone, begged the president for you.”
The salesgirl turned around. The sentence made her feel guilty and grateful at the same time.
