Chapter 30: The Phone Was Broken
Chapter 30: The Phone Was Broken
It was so quiet that the people all around could only hear the footsteps of the two people.
Everyone stared at the person who appeared suddenly. The man looked extremely handsome with
powerful aura, which made their heartbeat speed up. They were all excited.
Oh my god! There was really someone people who looked better than Joel, the school hunk!
He was 1.85 meters tall. He was in neat dark gray suit, which was the Calvin Klein brand. He looked
indifferent with extraordinary temperament. He was so charming.
Obviously, he was a successful person. He was handsome and rich, and was imply the perfect national
husband in the heart of a girl.
If one could marry him in this life, she would never regret!
All the women here were excited. They even could not wait to rush forward to follow him.
Spencer looked at the two familiar figures, her heart pounding. The person she thought who might not
come here appeared without warning...
Was this telepathy?
Lukas walked forward with a proud and cold face. He frowned. There was unabashed disgust in his
eyes. Obviously, he hated those anthomaniac eyes. Harris followed behind him respectfully.
Looking at the man who walked in step by step, Annie held Spencer's arm tightly. She said excitedly in
Spencer's ear, "He is coming over. He's coming! Oh my God, he is coming towards us ..."
Spencer hummed. Of course, she knew he was going to come to her, but she was very curious about
why he came to school.
She glanced at the women whose eyes were full of wonder. They reacted similarly to the first time she
saw him.
The eyes of those people made Spencer want to hide him.
She felt that the treasures she treasured had been missed by others.
She stared at him dissatisfiedly. Why was he so handsome?
Lukas raised his eyebrows. He came to the school to look for her, but she dared to glare at him.
Paige came back to her mind from the awe-inspiring. She watched Spencer exchanging amorous
glances with the man in disdain. Bitch was really a bitch. She winked at men and seduce men
everywhere.
Paige was wondering why Joel liked such woman.
Spencer was confused when she was stared by Paige, and didn't know what she did offended her
again.
She rolled her eyes to Paige. Suddenly, her vision went dark, and Lukas appeared in front of her.
When she just wanted to ask him why he appeared here, there was a shaking of her arm. She turned
to look over.
Annie was shaking her arm, she almost jumped up excitedly, "Spencer, Spencer, did you find him
looking at you?"
Spencer thought, "He was looking at me."
Spencer held her hand helpless, to prevent her from dangling like this, or her arm would be broken.
"You don't reply to me."
A cool voice sounded above her head. Spencer raised her head to look at him in confusion.
Many women on the scene were shocked. They were surprised that Spencer knew this man.
"What are you talking about?"
Did he send her a message?
She lowered her head and thought. Suddenly, she thought of the message that she would not be able
to read. She raised her head quickly, "You sent that message?"
Seeing him raising his eyebrows and looking unhappy, she smiled immediately and asked, "Well, what
did you say? I haven't had time to read it."
Hearing this, Lukas's expression softened a little, "Where's your phone?"
"My phone?"
As soon as she heard the word phone, she remembered the phone she had put on her backpack. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
Suddenly, she screamed, and ran to the ground anxiously to find it.
She opened the backpack and didn't find her phone...
She shook her backpack in the air again, but the phone wasn't in it...
After putting away the textbooks and notes on the ground, she finally found the broken phone under a
crafting book.
The phone screen was broken. It was useless for her to press the power button.
She got up, put the phone in front of Lukas. Her delicate face looked aggrieved. She whispered, "It's
broken."
She was done. She was done this time.
He was already angry with her, and she still didn't reply his message or answer his phone calls. He
must be even more angry.
Suddenly, she ran out and squatted on the ground looking for something. Only at this time, Lukas saw
that the backpack and the other things he prepared for her were thrown on the ground, and the
textbooks were scattered all over the floor...
He glanced at the pink phone that had been smashed into scum, then stared at the backpack and
textbooks she was holding on her chest, and asked coldly, "What happened?"
He just came in from the outside and saw that all the people who were supposed to be in class were all
around her classroom. He guessed something bad happened, but he ignored it because those things
had nothing to do with him.
It just seemed to have something to do with his little girl.
His blue eyes ran down the classroom sharply. Everyone was nervous when he saw them.
Finally, he fixed on Paige and Joel. After taking a deep look at them, he turned his head back and saw
Spencer pretending to be stupid with a smile. Obviously, she did not want to tell him.
He sighed and took the water glass from Harris, "Eat this. I forgot to ask Ivy to let you take it this
morning."
Spencer looked at the water glass and cold medicine in his hand blankly.
He came to school to let her take medicine?
In fact, she was already well. There was no need for her to take medicine. He didn't need to come over
specially.
Although she was thinking this way, she felt warm and her heart was injected with a warm current.
She put the phone in the hand of the dazed Annie, and then took the water glass. Just as she was
about to take the medicine, a big hand moved faster than her. He opened the white paper with the
medicine and stretched out in front of her.
His actions moved her again.
After taking the medicine, Spencer was held by him all of sudden. Her heart slammed faster.
His mellow and magnetic voice sounded in her ears, "I will pick you up in the evening to buy a phone."
After speaking, he let her go. Then he walked out of the classroom after looking at her for a few
seconds.
She only realized that he looked at her in a pampered way, and his tone was so gentle that she couldn't
help but indulging in his mildness.
Spencer didn't come back to her mind until she couldn't see him. She asked Harris in surprise, "Is he
not angry?"
Harris didn't understand what she meant, "Why is Mr. Lukas angry?"
Spencer coughed. She was a little embarrassed, "It's the meal last night...Isn't he very angry? Has he
cooled down?"
Harris smiled, "He looked gloomy at the time because of the problems with the dishes. After vomiting in
the study, he would be fine. Mr. Lukas is not angry at you at all."
He disliked her cooking at the time, but wanted to save her some face.
Suddenly, Spencer thought of something and asked eagerly, "Since he is not angry, he won't fire those
maids, right?"
"No."
Hearing these words, Spencer patted her chest and breathed a sigh of relief. She smiled and said
twice, "It’s fine. It’s fine."
She had always worried that he would anger the maids and fire them all.
A touch of appreciation flashed through Harris' eyes. Spencer cared about maids, which indicated that
she was kind-hearted.
The marriage between her and Lukas was decided long ago. Before seeing Spencer, Harris had been
worried that she would be like those women who tried to get close to Lukas.
But after getting along with her these days, he knew that she was different from those women and was
very suitable for Lukas.
Thinking about this, he couldn't help but asked with concern, "Miss, weren't you hungry last night?"
Upon hearing this, Spencer nodded immediately, puffing her cheeks and complaining, "I was starving to
death."
Harris was amused by her expression, "I thought you were not hungry. Mr. Lukas asked Ivy to cook a
bowl of noodles for you. Ivy knocked on the door for a long time and you didn't open the door. Were
you asleep at that time?"
Spencer nodded. She fell asleep when Ivy knocked on the door. But later, she woke up because of
hunger. She thought he was angry, so she didn't dare to go downstairs to eat.
It turned out that she was thinking too much and suffered from hunger all night.
Harris left after speaking. He thought Spencer would definitely thank Mr. Lukas more for his kindness.
The two people who appeared suddenly left, but everyone's mood changed.
Annie leaned close to Spencer and asked her, "Who is that man?"
Annie's simple question brightened the eyes of all the women at the scene.
Spencer asked deliberately, "Which man?"
"Oh, the handsome one."
"Oh, that..."
Spencer lengthened her voice deliberately. Annie patted her with a smile. Spencer coughed, looked at
the women around who couldn't wait to know it, smiled and said, "He’s my brother."
She still had to take him to Charlotte's engagement banquet, so she could not let them know that he
was her fiancé.
And she didn't tell a lie that she said he was her elder brother.
Her words surprised the women around. But no one dared to come to Spencer because of the
principal's daughter was here.
Annie was disappointed. It was her elder brother not her fiance.
Annie shrugged her shoulders dejectedly, but soon she regained her energy.
She was happy for Spencer. Annie thought that since Spencer had such an excellent brother, then she
could appreciate the handsome man from time to time.
Spencer was confused when she was staring by Annie's eager gaze. A bad premonition came to her
mind.
She saw Annie and wanted to tell her something, but was interrupted by a sound.
She and Annie looked over at the same time...
Joel was taking Paige's hand and taking her away strongly. Paige struggled constantly, but the strength
was very different and she was still taken away from the classroom...
"They finally left. Spencer, remember to stay away when you see her. I thought she was pretty good
before. But now I know that she is a shrew, a real shrew!"
Annie nodded fiercely after speaking.
"You knew her before?"
After Spencer asked, she saw Annie nodded. Then Spencer couldn't hear what she was still saying,
Annie's voice was drowned...
Annie even was pushed to a place where Spencer could not see...
After confirming that Paige had left, all the women around rushed over and squeezed in front of
Spencer, babbling about the information about Lukas. Spencer heard all kinds of questions...
Spencer was completely stunned in the middle. These people were really enthusiastic.
How could that guy be so attractive? He could make these women crazy like this by only seeing him
once.
When she was thinking about how to get out, a loud and shocking voice came suddenly, "What are you
doing?"
For a moment, everyone was silent. They stopped, and turned to look at the source of the voice...
At the door of the classroom, the Director of the Academic Affairs Office was looking at them angrily,
"Spencer, go to the principal's office."
