Love After Betrayal Chapter 12
Chapter 12
Henry’s screams reverberated around the whole villa. Believing that no one else would dare to set foot
in this place from tonight onward, Casper had his men send Ethel away and get rid of the blood and
corpses on the floor. Before entering his room, he inadvertently caught sight of a figure standing
somewhere upstairs. Seeing that he was looking in its direction, the figure immediately disappeared.
“Go call her downstairs,” he suddenly ordered. Not knowing what he was up to, Tyler said, “Mr.
Langston, I asked Old Mrs. Langston just now. Mr. Henry—” Casper shot a chilling glare at him. Not
daring to say another word, Tyler immediately had someone ask Natalie to come downstairs. Natalie
caught the pungent smell of blood when she came out. Her stomach churned, and she felt a strong
urge to throw up, but she forcibly suppressed it. Casper was sitting in his wheelchair. His face looked
almost flawless and even more peerlessly handsome in the dim light, but Natalie couldn’t sense any
human warmth from it. He’s just like a demon. I just saw it from upstairs. This guy is even scarier than
I’d imagined! “Are you scared?” Casper suddenly asked with great interest. Then, he changed the
subject, saying, “Don’t you want to watch it? Come down here to get a better look at it. I’ll let you watch
it to your heart’s content.” Natalie’s heart clenched all of a sudden. Taking two steps back in a row, she
yelled, “You’re a madman, Casper! Did you call me downstairs just to show me how you kill people and
get rid of the evidence? Are you nuts?” Casper clenched his fists for a moment, looking so frosty as
though he could kill with the look in his eyes. “Barf—” Unable to repress the urge any longer, Natalie
covered her mouth, ran aside, and threw up. Damn it! How could I throw up at such a time? What if he
gets suspicious? This baby really came at a bad time, she thought. Just then, Casper’s chilling voice
sounded. “I heard that you had my sperm inside you. Natalie, don’t tell me you’re pregnant with my
child!” Natalie froze for an instant. Then, she said coldly, “How is that possible? Stop dreaming, Casper.
I’d never bear children for you!” This guy is just a madman, and his child may end up inheriting his
madness if it’s born. At the thought of this, she felt a chill running down her spine, which caused her to
shudder with fear. When Casper saw her like this, he dismissed his misgivings. Still, he warned in a
voice full of disgust and frostiness, “That’d be the best. But even if you’re pregnant, I won’t let you give
birth to the baby.” He hates kids, thought Natalie. When she realized this, she instantly clenched her
fists. Casper said, “Now get lost!” Natalie immediately turned around and left. Upon seeing this, Tyler
braced himself and walked up to Casper. “Mr. Langston, Old Mrs. Langston said that the story about
Mr. Henry specifically asking Madam to go to the Langston Residence was a lie she made up off the
cuff in an attempt to stall for time. She lied that the shares had been transferred to Madam’s name,
which was why Mr. Henry didn’t get suspicious when I called him just now to ask him to come and get
the share transfer agreement… You were wrong about her.” Casper fell silent for a few seconds. “It
doesn’t matter anymore. Get ready to file for divorce a week later.” He had refrained from doing so
earlier out of concern for Ethel’s health, but now, he didn’t want to wait any longer. Tyler asked, “Mr.
Langston, do you really want to divorce her?” Casper darted a look at him. “You got any objections?”
Tyler replied, “No, I don’t.” … Meanwhile, at an inn in Kaiton, cockroaches were crawling all over the
place in a dark and damp room. The toilet had a weird smell, and the sound of water dripping could be
heard. Clutching his cell phone, Henry yelled desperately, “… What do you mean? Are you gonna
leave me in the lurch now that I’ve been kicked out of the Langston Family? Casper is still alive! He’s a
demon! I don’t care. I want 100 million deposited into my bank account, or I’m gonna let on that you’re
involved in this! If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have had the nerve to fight against him! I want to get out
of this awful place at once. Have your people pick me up now!” Then, he continued, “What? You wanna
come back? In that case, don’t blame me for not telling you that Casper is already married. Sasha
Maxwell, you refused to marry him back then. Do you think he’ll still marry you if you come back right
now?” The person on the other end of the line said something, upon which Henry gradually calmed
down. “Alright, I’ll wait for you!” … It was early morning the next day. Natalie had an appointment for a Còntens bel0ngs to Nô(v)elDr/a/ma.Org
medical checkup today. Fearing that she would bump into Casper, she made a special effort to get up
early. When she came downstairs, Mrs. Jenkins happily came up to her, saying, “You’re up early too,
Madam? Mr. Langston is having breakfast over there. Why don’t you go over and have breakfast with
him?” He gets up so early in the morning! thought Natalie. She didn’t want to see Casper, but just as
she wanted to say no, he came out of the dining room. Consequently, they met face to face, rendering
her speechless. Casper brushed past her directly without even looking at her. “Get the papers ready for
our divorce a week later.”
