Lost and Found: Return of My Mysterious Fiancee

Chapter 862: The Judgment on the Bailey Family

"Tina, you cruel and ruthless woman! Why haven't you gone to hell yet?" Vivienne screamed, her eyes wide with rage. "The Bailey family ended up like this all because of you!"

Kelly supported Vivienne, her expression mirroring her mother's. She didn't forget to drag Ella into it as well. "My sister, at least, shares some blood ties with you! Now she's the one who's truly lost everything because of you. She won't let younovelbin

get away with this either."

Ella nearly rolled her eyes at Vivienne's words, silently cursing her a thousand times over.

She couldn't wait for the Bailey family to suffer this downfall. After all, they had ruined her mother, leaving her in a coma on a hospital bed.

After committing so many heinous acts, if Tina didn't face justice, heaven itself would intervene!

The audacity to speak so shamelessly. Ella wanted nothing more than to slap her eight hundred times.

Victor's gaze locked onto Tina, his eyes filled with venom, like a snake poised to strike, ready to tear her apart.

"If you don't want your eyes anymore, I'd be happy to take them out for you," Jared said coldly, gripping Victor's throat with one hand. His sharp gaze bore into Victor like a vortex, threatening to swallow him whole. Victor's face turned red as the air was forced from his lungs. He clawed desperately at Jared's hand, struggling to breathe.

Just when he thought he was on the brink of death, Jared tossed him to the ground like trash, utterly indifferent.

The Bailey family members didn't dare make a sound. Even Vivienne and Kelly, who were usually the loudest and most shameless, remained motionless. Only Johnson hurried over to help Victor sit upright in the main seat. If Victor was a snake slithering on the ground, then Jared was an eagle soaring above, ready to strike and kill it.

Tina picked up a document and handed it to Jared. It was the court's official ruling, freshly issued.

Though the trial had concluded without a final verdict, Tina had instructed her team to ensure the matter was resolved promptly.

The Bailey family's hearts sank as Luke Gill's shoulders collapsed the moment the ruling was revealed. His phoenix-shaped eyes brimmed with despair.

Ella's expression froze momentarily, but she knew this was the justice Luke Gill deserved. After all, he had been complicit in the Bailey family's crimes against the Dyer family. This was karma-what goes around comes around. Jared took the court's ruling, his sharp eyes narrowing as a chilling red glimmer flashed within them. His voice was steady, cold, and commanding. "After the court's final review, the defendants Luke Gill and Victor have been identified as the primary perpetrators. Their crimes include framing Dyer Group, engaging in malicious business competition, accepting bribes, and endangering public safety. Additional investigations revealed collusion with other Bailey family members. In accordance with Articles 87, 351, and 672 of the Criminal Code, the judgment is as follows..."

Jared glanced indifferently at Victor. "All Bailey family assets will be confiscated, and all involved criminals will be taken into custody and sentenced to prison."

His words were firm and resonant, leaving no room for doubt.

Victor's eyes rolled back, and he fell from his seat, unconscious. Even Johnson, who had been supporting him moments ago, stood frozen in shock. Blood spurted from Victor's mouth as rage and despair consumed him. "Master! Master, you can't fall! Our entire family is about to go to prison. You have to think of something! Kelly is still young; she can't go to jail!" Vivienne wailed, crawling to Victor's side and shaking him desperately.

Victor let out a bitter laugh. "Even the Langdon family couldn't escape their fate. Do you think I can protect her? To think that under my leadership, the Bailey family has fallen to such a state. All I ever wanted was to make the Bailey family the leader of the hidden families. I used every trick in the book, bowed to the Langdon family, even acted like a dog for them!"

"Leader of the hidden families? What a delusional dream," Jared sneered, his cold eyes filled with disdain.

Victor scoffed. "We're all part of the hidden families. Why shouldn't I dream of it? If the Langdon family could claim the top spot, why not the Bailey family? My only mistake was not being ruthless enough!" Jared didn't even spare him another glance. He rose to his feet and commanded, "Take them away."

At his order, the authorities stepped forward and arrested every member of the Bailey family.

Ella sat calmly nearby, a faint smile playing on her lips as she watched her enemies finally face the consequences they deserved.

Vivienne stared at her in shock, then screamed through gritted teeth. "You were the Bailey family's spy! You've been leaking information to Tina all along, haven't you? That's why the Bailey family ended up like this! You wretch! You filthy wretch!"

Slap!

Ella narrowed her phoenix eyes and delivered a swift, sharp slap to Vivienne's face. "Wretch? You ruined my mother's life, forced me to do your dirty work for years, and now you dare insult me? If it weren't for my mother, I wouldn't have tolerated you for a single day. Enjoy the rest of your miserable life in prison-alone, abandoned, and desolate. It's more than you deserve, you scum!"

One by one, the Bailey family members were loaded into police cars. Luke Gill, handcuffed, turned his phoenix eyes toward Ella, staring at her intently.

Ella exhaled deeply, a sense of liberation washing over her. "After all these years of pretending around you, I'm finally free."

She pulled out a long-prepared divorce agreement. "With the Bailey family's grip on me gone, I can finally do this. I've been waiting for this day for a long time. Sign it." Luke Gill's thin lips quirked into a bitter smile. "Ella, I thought I treated you well."

"Luke Gill, do you even hear yourself? Treated me well? Wasn't it all for your own benefit?" Ella retorted coldly.

Luke was momentarily speechless but quickly chuckled lightly. "Heh. I lost. I admit it."

With a sharp bite, he removed the pen cap and, despite his cuffed hands, signed his name with a flourish before turning and stepping into the police car.

Ella didn't spare him another glance. Instead, she walked over to Tina. "I've done everything you asked. Now that it's over, you must save my mother!" Tina smiled faintly. "Don't worry. If I said I could save her, then I will."

"Can I see her now?" Ella asked urgently, clutching Tina's arm.

"Of course. Courtney will take you there first. I'll come by later," Tina assured her. Courtney then drove Ella to the YQ Research Institute. Tina and Jared exchanged a knowing look before getting into another car and heading to a secluded area along the police convoy's route. When Jared parked the car in a hidden spot, he reached into the seat compartment. Tina leaned over curiously to see what he was doing. Jared's long arm wrapped around her, gently pressing her back into her seat. "Close your eyes, Tina. I have a surprise for you," he said softly.

"A surprise? Is it strawberry cake?" she asked, her long lashes fluttering as she obediently closed her eyes. Her rosy lips curved into a smile, dimples faintly appearing.

"Strawberry cake doesn't count as a surprise. That's something I'll always prepare for you," Jared replied, his deep voice tinged with warmth as he playfully pinched her cheek. "Alright, you can open your eyes now," he whispered, his lips brushing against her ear, his tone teasing and magnetic.
