Lorde’s Pov

Waking up with Amelia by my side again this morning is the best gift I have ever gotten in life, I watched her sleeping so sound and peaceful.

I kissed her forehead getting off the bed, I wanted to have my bath and leave as usual but what if it upsets her?

“Lorde why not be with our mate this morning before leaving to work?” Raja suggested and I decided to stay back.

I walked to the bathroom to wash my mouth then have my bath under the shower, when I started thinking of the recent death that took place, where I could do nothing, I sometimes wonder if I am not fit of being the Alpha, I need my adviser now Andre, long I heard from him, maybe he has travelled out again to catch fun as he always does but anyway will call him on my way to work to check on him as a caring cousin that I am.

I stepped out from the bathroom with a towel on my waist as I walked to my closet to pick up easy wear, I wished to prepare breakfast for her before leaving the house.

Fitting on the dress after applying body cream, I walked out of the room, “Good Morning Alpha Lorde.” Resounded at every part of the house, I responded with just a nod as usual as I walked to the kitchen.

“I need you all to leave the kitchen at once.”

“Yes, Alpha Lorde.”

Immediately they exited the kitchen and I looked at my hands, been a while I cooked but I know I still got it in me.

I brought out the eggs and concluded on making an easy breakfast for her which is bacon and eggs.

I was done preparing it as I served it on the plates when mother walked in.

“Seems the great alpha is trying to treat his mate to a special breakfast made by him.”

“Good morning mom.”

“Good Morning son, how was your night rest?”

“Find mom, Amelia told me about the shopping.”

“Yeah, I want her to look very astounding at day with the humans and very gorgeous at night with all packs.”

“Just go easy on her with shopping, she might not be the fashion type like you mom.”

“I knew this will happen that’s why I decided to make excess, I will dish yours now.”

“That’s my son, I taught you well.”

Mom can never stop getting full of herself.

“Thank you, son, this reminds me of your father’s cooking, truly nothing in this life stays for a very long time, how I wish there was a way to bring him back.”

I hugged mom saying, “That’s why I am here for you mom, or don’t I look like father?”

“Oh yes, you do look like him, in fact, a replica of him.” We started laughing as mom took her breakfast from the kitchen.

I took the tray of breakfast heading to my room to surprise her when Amelia, she is awake already dressing in front of the mirror with her purple lingerie on, I dropped the tray of breakfast on the table close by as I held her waist, I knew she sniffed me before entering the room.

“Good Morning pretty one.” I kissed her neck.

“Good Morning Alpha Lorde.”

“I told you before, call me by my name or any romantic name, you are my mate and I am yours, you need to be at ease with me please.”

“Okay, dear.”

“Sounds better.”

“I thought you left for work already?”

“Not yet, I wanted to serve you breakfast made by me before leaving to work.”

“Wow.”

“Now come sit on the bed, time to eat.”

She sat on the bed while I served her breakfast and was glad she enjoyed it as she feeds me along.

“You are such a good chef, thumbs up.”

I could not stop smiling, so she is this lively?

She put on a dress to return the plates to the kitchen while I walked behind her.

I watched her wash the dishes since she insist then I turned her raising her right leg with support in the kitchen as I kissed her holding her waist.

We could not break from the kiss then I carried her up still kissing when I met Simon at the living room with others, “Good Morning Alpha Lorde and the future supreme luna of the pack.”

I noticed how she became shy as she buried her face on my chest, “I will meet you at work today, Simon you have to wait, we got something to do as well.”

“Yes, Alpha Lorde.”

I planned on telling Simon that we should use the entire day to visit the packs that got attacked recently and the ones who went extinct to discover if there can be a trace to the person doing this evil.

Amelia’s Pov

I could not hide my expression, I am so happy around Lorde, he is just my everything, kissing is now something that I wish to have daily, I can’t stop thinking of his kisses and touch, they mesmerise me so well.

Seeing Simon and others, I got shy as I buried my face in his chest and then he took me inside after he was done talking to them as he placed me on the bed, kissing me so deeply.

“Remember you ask Simon to wait?”

“I know, I could cancel everything I am doing today, I just can’t leave your sight.”

He tickled me, “Oh stop.” I could not stop laughing.

“That’s my pretty one,” he moved to my belle and placed his hot breath there that made me shiver in excitement.

“But you need to go, as the alpha to keep your word.”

“Okay then, I will get ready but let me just kiss you again.”

I nodded, I pinned my hands around his neck as he kissed me with his body moving slowly on mine as I felt something hard from him again, like I wanted whatever is supposed to happen to take place then he stopped saying, “I can’t wait for the day I will mark you, I can be with you every time.”

I smiled then I let out the word for the first time, “I love you, Lorde.”

“Sorry, can you be a bit louder?”

“I love you.”

“I wasn’t listening, can you please say it louder again to my hearing.”

I started blushing then I repeated the words, “Lorde I love you.”

“I love you too.” He kissed my cheek as he got up to get ready to leave.

“Good Morning Amelia, I am happy we both woke up feeling so excited,” I said to my wolf side.

“You can say that again you know, let’s do some tour again before getting ready for shopping.”

“Sure, it will be fun you know.”

“Yeah.”

I forgot to ask Lorde for a phone, I guess on his return I will ask him, I know he will get me one.

I took a walk around the environment when suddenly I felt a sharp pain at my back close to my neck as I and my wolf form yelled out in so much pain, looking at the transparent wall, my wolf eyes were already visible.
