Katarina’s Pov

I entered my room, took off my clothes and my wolf side won’t let me be, she kept trying to make me feel guilty for trying to hurt Amelia like I care, I kept her silent as I entered the bathroom to have a cool bath.

I started calculating what exactly I should do to make sure she meets her ends, should I use tomorrow shopping to carry out my task or what?

I guess that is exactly what I should do.

I stepped out from the bathroom when my mom called again expecting some good news, “Tell me she is dead and we should start preparing for her burial rites.”

“I wish that was possible but the person you brought failed, he got caught and was killed exactly at the spot with his heart in the Almighty Alpha hands.”

“Oh no, painful death,” Mom exclaimed.

“So what do you have next in mind, before I forget, Amelia thinks we are cool, she even invited me for her shopping of clothes tomorrow, can you imagine mom?”

“That girl got some brasses, already doing shopping when she just got there?”

“I wonder.”

“What’s the event?”

“She told me they are planning a welcoming party as the mate of the Almighty Alpha.”

“I see.” Mom replied and I could sense she is already having some evil thoughts running through her mind.

“Mom, do you have any plan available?”

“Oh yes my dear, we could make use of some dirty wolf over there to kidnap her at the shopping mall she is and then kill her.”

“That’s a great idea mom, this is why I love you so much.”

“I love you too my child, you merit her position as Alpha Lorde’s mate.”

“Thank you mom, I will send you the details and everything.”

“Sure, you just make sure to distract whoever will be going with you and her to the shopping mall so things can be easy, we talk more tomorrow.”

“Thank you, mom, good night mom.”

“Good night my child.”

Now I can sleep, we are going to be attending the shopping but Amelia won’t return home back with us, how sweet, can’t wait for tomorrow to come.

I lay on my bed stretching my body as I doze off.

Amelia’s Pov

I woke up and found myself sleeping on the bed covered with a blanket, did someone come on here to cover me up? I know I was sitting on the couch waiting for him.

Maybe Lorde came to the room but why is he not here yet? It’s past midnight, what exactly is he doing that is so important than his rest.

I got off the bed and walked to the toilet to urinate, washing my face before stepping out of the room to search for Alpha Lorde.

Seems everyone is asleep but where is Alpha Lorde?

Luckily I saw one of the maids awake, “Is everything okay my Luna? You should be taking your rest now for it’s late already.”

“I know that, do you happen to know where Alpha Lorde is?”

“He is in his special room.” She replied.

What does she mean by special room?

“I don’t understand what you mean by that?”

“He always loves going to his special room to work on something, read or relax.”

“Oh I see, where is this special room?”

“I will take you there my Luna.”

“Thank you.”

“You don’t have to thank me my Luna, it is my duty to serve you.”

“Okay if you say so, let’s go.”

I walked with her but I kept thinking, could he be with his mistress now?

What if I bumped into them? Oh no, that will be terrible.

“I can’t go further in my Luna.”

“Okay thank you.”

She left and I stood by the door, I kept thinking if I should open the door or just return back to my room.

Lorde’s Pov

“Is the result out!” I asked Simon who brought up the talk about the result.

“Not yet, according to the department, it will be ready this coming week but I have a feeling that whoever is creating stuff like that is after your life.”

“I know being an Alpha is not an easy task so don’t worry about me, I am used to it already.”

“If you say so do but that doesn’t mean you should not be careful about anything you do Alpha.”

“I heard you Simon and that reminds me, my mate advised me on something, let’s not discuss any plan we have with the packs anymore, we don’t know who is our betrayal now.”

“You correct but what if I am the betrayal amongst us?”

“Oh, I know you can’t do that so I have no fear at all.”

“Oh really, I think I need to learn something new to improve on my acting.”

We started laughing.

“So Simon, where is your mate? You know my Luna will need the beta mate to keep her company?”

“Oh damn, I know you will say this soon, but have no fear, I have a feeling I will be meeting my mate very soon.”

“I will be waiting, I think I spent much time here, need to see my queen now, good night Simon.”

“Good night Alpha Lorde.”

I walked to my mansion as I entered the living room using the staircase to my room when I saw Amelia sleeping on the couch in the room.

“Oh my pretty Amelia, you should have just slept on the bed instead of sleeping here, you might get body pains,” I said even if she won’t hear a thing I am saying since she is sleeping.

I carried her and placed her properly on the bed as I kissed her forehead before going to have a cool bath.

I was not feeling sleeping, the pack issues still going through my mind so I went to my special room to relax my mind.

I brought out a book from the shelf to read sitting down, I flipped over to some pages then I decided to check if stuff happening now took place In the past but could find nothing.

“Amelia,” I called when I got her scent, her presence alone is like paradise to me, I walked to the door waiting for her to unlock it.
