I'm Your Sister, Brother Chow

Chapter 19: Weak Protests

Chapter 19: Weak Protests

Chow casually accepted the tea and placed it on the table in front of them. "I heard that the students in

your school have just filled up their mock college application forms, is that right?" he asked in a low

voice.

Hearing this, Vivian suddenly felt her temples throbbing in pain. She froze in her seat.

During class yesterday, the teacher had indeed asked them to fill up a mock application form, but how

did Chow know about it?

The Headmaster nodded immediately. "Yes, you're right! I know that you've always been very

concerned about Vivian, so I purposely told my assistant to inform your secretary and ask if you

needed to know about her college choices. I didn't expect that you would drop by personally. Mr.

Howard, you really care about Vivian very much!"

It was obvious that the Headmaster was just trying to score brownie points from Chow, but what he

said sent Vivian's heart to her stomach.

She had never expected that the Headmaster would even report such a small thing to Chow just to

secure his donation to the school.

She quietly clenched her fists, feeling her heart beating faster and faster.

Chow was sitting right next to her, so he naturally saw her reaction.

He narrowed his eyes and nodded at the Headmaster. "Thank you for your concern, Headmaster

Jonathan. May I have a look at her application form?"

"Yes, of course!" The Headmaster nodded as he got up from the sofa and picked up the form on his

desk.

Needless to say, that was the form that Vivian had filled in just the day before.

He was indeed well-prepared for this meeting.

Vivian lowered her head, her eyes gradually filling with tears.

She had originally thought that, at the very least, she would be able to escape from Chow's control at

school and do things that she really wanted to do, but she was horribly wrong.

It was nothing but an empty wish after all.

Headmaster Jonathan quickly handed over the form to Chow. Chow looked at the three colleges that

Vivian had filled in.

Headmaster Jonathan continued trying to butter Chow up. "It seems that Vivian likes designing very

much and chose all the top colleges in the country that are famous for their design courses. She has a

very bright future ahead of her."

Although Vivian kept her head down, she couldn't help but secretly look in Chow's direction.

His expression remained stoic, but Vivian could feel that the aura he emitted was becoming a lot darker

and more dangerous. Even his facial muscles seemed to have tensed up a lot more.

Headmaster Jonathan was right. The colleges that she chose were indeed top design colleges, but

they also shared a common characteristic — each of these colleges was thousands and thousands of

miles away from Holy City, where Chow was at.

... Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Outsiders might not realise it, but Chow knew that Vivian was trying to escape by applying for a college

that was far, far away from him.

Chow's hand was still resting on her, but as the look on his face turned more solemn, the strength he

used to hold onto her shoulder became tighter as well, almost crushing her bones.

Vivian waited with bated breath, lowering her head quietly beside him.

She hadn't thought that Chow would get his hands on her mock application form. Otherwise, she would

not have exposed her intentions so easily and carelessly to him.

Suddenly, she heard the rustling of paper and looked up quickly, only to learn that Chow had balled up

the piece of paper in anger.

His sudden action greatly shocked the Headmaster.

The Headmaster looked at Vivian in confusion before turning to look at Chow. "Mr. Howard, why did

you do that?"
