But Curtis, as always, had a warm expression and a respectful attitude. "Ms. Davis, thank you for your reminder. Driving back to the Martin Group, Curtis went into Benjamin's office as soon as he could.

After reporting on the work schedule of the Martin Group, he then brought up what he had just heard at the hospital. He said, "Mr. Martin, Ms. Davis was not born by her parents."

Benjamin looked up at Curtis, his expression revealing a question. "What does that mean?"

Curtis truthfully told Benjamin what he had just heard outside the ward and added, "This is something Ms. Davis seems to have known about for a long time. When Wanda mentioned it, Ms. Davis seemed a little repulsed to let her talk about it and reminded her not to say anything about it anymore."

"Are you sure you heard right?"

Benjamin glanced at Curtis, little emotion in his eyes.

Curtis nodded. "Mr. Martin, I'm pretty sure those words came from Ms. Davis' mother herself."

Benjamin didn't say another word but just narrowed his eyes slightly, some chill in them.

The news that Lauren wasn't Wanda and Sean's biological child certainly had Benjamin in deep thought.

He gestured Curtis out by waving his

Benjamin had Curtis arrange for someone to find out when Lauren's relationship with Wanda and Sean began, including who her birth parents were.
