"Harper, are you planning to ignore me until I leave, or are you still in shock from Benjamin announcing your marriage as a surprise?"

"Moving? Where to?"

"I moved out to live on my own."

"Because of Lauren?"

"Not exactly. It just seems like a divorce would be better for both of us."

"Harper, marriage isn't a child's play. Think carefully before making any decisions, and try to make them when you're calm, okay?"

Isaac urged her to calm down before making any rash decisions. But Harper was already calm, calmer than she had ever been. Her decision wasn't born out of spite or stubbornness.
