Hope you in my dream

Chapter 32 Moving Out of Clark's House

Chapter 32 Moving Out of Clark's House

The rim of Rachel's eye turned red. Clark could not help but furrowing his brows and asked, "Did you hear our conversation just now?"

With a hint of panic in her eyes, she shook her head and said, "No, I heard nothing."

Staring at her directly into Rachel's eyes, Clark explained, "I did have a fiancee before, but she took the initiative to cancel the wedding. Then we don't have any relationship anymore and I have never contacted her ever since."

Stunned, Rachel stared at him in amazement, thinking, "What kind of woman would abandon a nice guy like Clark? How could it be possible?"

"The reason why she left me at that time was that my family was in trouble, so we couldn't support her family anymore," Clark added in an different voice.

With doubts written all over her face, Rachel stared at him, wondering how many women wanted to sleep with him? How could there be anyone who didn't know how to cherish him and left him?

No matter what, Rachel still couldn't believe what he said.

Seeing her hesitation, Clark suddenly reached out his hand and touched her head. "Even if she comes back, I won't have any relationship with her."

Rachel took a step back subconsciously, shaking her head, and said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Clark. It's your privacy, and I shouldn't get involved."

A slice of disappointment flashed through his eyes. With a distant look, Clark said, "Let me drive you back."

He walked in the front, while Rachel followed him in silence. There was an indescribable strange atmosphere between them.

They did not talk at all along the way.

Clark's face was as cold as ice, which made people shiver.

After sending Rachel back to the villa, Clark fetched some clothes and left without looking back.

Looking around the empty villa, Rachel kept thinking about the conversation between Clark and another man.

"Clark, your fiancee is coming back. What are you going to do?"

"Anna? Why will she come back?"

Rachel's mind was in a mess. If Anna came back, how would she feel when she saw her in this villa?

No, she couldn't stay here any longer.

Clark and she were more than just friends. Living here was disreputable. It would definitely bring gossips to both sides.

Thinking of this, Rachel made up her mind immediately.

A few days later, she got her salary.

Rachel took a close look at the figures in the card and found that there was almost six figures!

With this money, she could not only pay some of her debt, but also move out of Clark's house.

In the following days, Rachel searched for a place to live online.

She went to check the place together with Eva, making the latter very busy. This made her a little guilty.

But thinking that she could get rid of Clark soon, Rachel couldn't wait to move out.

Finally, they found a satisfactory apartment not far from the villa of Clark's.

It was a high-grade apartment with two bedrooms and two living rooms. Eva and she occupied one room respectively.

After paying the rent and deposit, Rachel took out most of her salary, leaving only a little living expenses.

The thought that she was going to start a new life brought a surge of passion to her. Rachel even wanted to find an opportunity to tell Clark everything.

Early in the morning, Clark finally came back. He was having breakfast in the dining room.

Rachel pushed the prepared thick envelope in front of him and said indifferently, "I just received my salary, and I will pay you back a penny first. I will give you some money for every salary I have received from now on. You can rest assured that I will pay back all the money as soon as possible."

Clark looked at her in astonishment. "Why didn't you keep it for yourself? You don't have to pay me back in such a hurry."

With a grateful smile, Rachel said, "Thank you for your kindness, but if I don't pay back the money, I'll be unable to eat or sleep."

Hearing her words, Clark had no choice but to take the money quietly.

"In addition, Eva and I are going to move out today," said Rachel suddenly.

Looking at Rachel in surprise, Clark asked, "Don't you feel comfortable to live here?"

With a complicated smile, Rachel said, "It's really comfortable to live here, but it's not very convenient."

Raising his eyebrows, Clark looked at her in confusion.

As a result, Rachel had to added, "You see, Eva and I are both girls. We will get you into trouble if we live together with you for too long. So we both decided to move out." © NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.

Clark glanced at Eva coolly.

Eva quickly said, "Mr. Clark, it's Miss Rachel's idea. I can't do anything about it. I hope you can respect that!"

After taking a glance at Rachel, Clark said, "Okay, I'll help you move today."

Stunned, Rachel said, "No, there is no need. Thanks for offering. You are busy with your work. We can do it ourselves."

"Since you move out from my villa, I, the owner of this house, should do something for you," Clark said coldly.

Realizing that Clark would not give up, Rachel didn't refuse anymore.

So, Clark worked hard to help her and Eva carry their luggage.

In fact, they didn't have much luggage, just two large suitcases.

It was not until he had moved the two women's luggage into their new rented apartment that Clark had a chance to see Rachel's choice.

The apartment was facing south, with a sunny exposure and has a good ventilation. There was a strong security net installed around it, and so did the door. With a high security rate, the apartment

looked very nice even though it was not very large.

Clark nodded with satisfaction, stating, "The place is good. It's not far from my house. I can pass this road to work and pick you up later. From now on, I can drive you two to work and drive you home."

Upon hearing this, Rachel immediately shook her head and said, "No need to do that. It's not far from the filming site. It's just a few bus stops' distance. I can take a bus or a taxi to go there."

"No way," Clark refused firmly. "You are already a famous star now. You will cause a lot of unnecessary trouble if you go out by yourself like that. Let me give you a lift!"

Upon hearing this, Eva encouraged, "Yes, Mr. Clark is right. Rachel, you're different from me. I can go out without being recognized by anyone. But if you go out like this, you'll be surrounded by your fans. After all, some fans are crazy."

"Errr?" Hesitating, Rachel thought what they said was reasonable.

After thinking for a while, Rachel finally nodded, "Thank you, Mr. Clark."

"It doesn't matter. I'm willing to do anything for you," Clark said coolly.

From then on, he shouldered the responsibility of sending Rachel to work and getting her off work.

One day, when Clark went out, he did not notice that a black Maserati was parked under the tree not far from his villa.

Clark got into the car and drove directly to the building of Rachel's apartment.

The Maserati followed him with a low speed and they kept a short distance from each other.

A woman wearing sunglasses saw the car stop and asked in confusion, "Isn't he supposed to go to the company? Why does he stop here?"

When Nancy was wondering what was going on, she saw Rachel walking out of the gate and got on Clark's car.

"How can it be this bitch?" Nancy's face darkened with displeasure.

But soon she responded, thinking, "Has that bitch moved out of Clark's house?"

A sly idea flashed through Nancy's mind. She was thrilled about her idea.

In the car, Rachel took a look at Clark and casually asked, "Are you still so busy with the company's affairs?"

"Yes, but I almost finished my work," answered Clark indifferently.

"Director Bob wants me to take on a role in his new film. Should I take it or not?" Rachel asked.
