I woke up when I feel someone is kissing me. When I open my eyes I saw Maggie sweet smiling at me.

“You’re really handsome when you sleep,” she said and kissed me again.

“Good morning too, love.” I pulled her so she lay down on me. “The morning is happier when there is morning sex.” I kissed her in the neck but she laughed.

“Maggie?” I annoyed calling her name.

“Get up and take a shower, I’ll wait for you downstairs and let’s eat together.” She got up but I pulled her again. “Hey?”

I take a bath while thinking about my wife. This feeling is new to me. Is it really like this when in love? I mean, I also like women who used to be my type. I was excited to see and talk to and I always thought but not like this.

When I went down to the kitchen I saw her preparing food. It’s nice to have a wife who takes care of you. All I thought before apart from teasing me was that she knew nothing else but I was wrong.

Everyday she surprised me. Besides cooking she does all the housework. She does the laundry, and she also irons our clothes. One time I was surprised when I woke up she cleaned my car.

I ask her why she did that but she just laughed. I told her to stop but the ending we both cleaned my car. Which is I never did because I take my car to the car wash.

Maggie is unpredictable and quite surprising. It’s hard to guess what’s on her mind. But I only notice one thing about her, she loves attention. Let’s say she’s an attention seeker. She loves that I praise her even in simple things. It’s not that I’m fooling her because I really just appreciate what she’s doing.

Maybe we all want to be appreciated for what we do. But Maggie is different, she can give you the World and her World rotates on you when she sees that you appreciate her. She can do everything even the hardest tasks when she knows you will enjoy it and you can tell her how good she is.

“Maggie,” I scolded as I felt her foot on my thigh.

“Shit!” I hissed. “I’ll definitely eat you after.” I was about to get up to approach her when I heard the doorbell ring.

I don’t tend to rush to food even when sex is still in question. Mom always reminded me that the food we eat gives us energy and good health so should be appreciated.

I am done but Maggie is not there yet so I follow her into the living room.

“What’s that?” I asked when I saw her bowing. There is also a painting in front of her.

“Ah, sent by Phoenix, Hailey made this.” I approached her to see the painting. “It seems to be a gift for our monthsarry.”

When I opened the door I saw him making the bed.

“Oh?”

“I will bring the painting in my office.” She stopped what she was doing and looked at me.

“Why?”
