Daciana opened her eyes to a white ceiling, she was lying on the cold floor.

At first, she thought she might have been locked in the dungeon of Alpha’s tower for committing a crime or getting the Alpha king angry with her but that was not it.

She looked around the room in apprehension until everything that happened came flooding in.

Her attempt to sit up were in vain, that was when she realized that she is still in her wolf form, weak, and captured.

She thought she would be able to move at least but she couldn’t, only her eyes could roll and see every corner of the room.

Her body became immovable, she couldn’t move any part of her body which made her more frightened. She has been rendered immobile.

The small wolf laid helplessly on the floor without being able to do anything.

The place she was kept look more of an abandoned store attached to a house.

It’s structure and how it is built is different from their buildings in the pack.

She is in the human world, the wolf hunters took her away. Will they kill her? What will they do to her?

Every of her questions and thoughts brought nothing but embed fears in her.

The last thing she could remember was Alpha Connor and Kaira fighting fiercely for her but she couldn’t do anything to save her own self.

As she laid the on the cold cold floor, the wolf’s back pinned to the floor and it’s face up with it’s paws spread on the side, the door slightly opened.

There stood a man in a black long coat, his footsteps echoed in the wolf’s ears until he was standing right in front of her.

As she stared at him, more men trooped in. About five of them stared at her almost lifeless body.

“Is the wolf awake?” One of them asked.

“Yes boss, its eyes are widely opened. I am afraid in case it will shape shift into human, that is not going be of any help to us” another person replied.

Carlos laughed in contentment, for being able to get hold of a wolf after trying for years. Even if it was just one, that’s a great achievement, it is also enough for experiments.

“It is too weak to even wag it’s tails or move it furs, I am sure it will be hard shape shifting” he replied proudly.

Hendrick nodded his head in agreement then, silence descended for a moment.

“What are we going to do with it?” He asked.

“I will ask them to arrange the lab, we should be able to do something in a few hours or tomorrow. It’s getting late” Carlos explained.

“Yes boss”

The weak wolf could hear every of their conversations but she couldn’t say or do anything.

They are going to kill her in a few hours or as soon as the day breaks for a stupid experiment.

The rest followed immediately leaving Daciana all to herself once again.

She needed to do everything within her power to shift, she have to even if it means hurting her more than she is already.

The wolves were able to kill the rest of the wolf hunters except for two. The one who escaped with Daciana and their commandant.

They have searched everywhere in the wood for them but there was no trace of them which means that they escaped successfully.

“Are you okay Alpha king?” Dolphus asked worriedly after shifting to his human form.

Alpha Connor sat in the same position he was after watching them take his mate away.

It slowly wagged it tails, it was too weak but Dolphus noticed.

The big giant wolf on the floor was in severe pain but it doesn’t matter to him, he needed it’s mate and make sure that she is fine.

Dolphus understood the Alpha king’s pain, he could communicate with him through its howls, whimpers and wagging of its tail.

It is surprising that Alpha Connor remained in his wolf form after a fight. It is very uncommon.

“We will go to the human world and find the Luna Alpha king but we won’t be able to do that if you are not treated and healed” Dolphus said.

He sighed seeing the wolf’s tail wagging again.

Alpha Connor can’t wait until he is healed, it might be too late before they are able to save her just like now.

Dolphus half shift into wolf and human, he carried Alpha Connor on his back and took off while the rest of them followed.

Kaira’s tears were streaming down her face, she couldn’t protect her Queen until the last moment.

She was captured right under her nose. Is she not weak and pathetic?

Kaira won’t be able to forgive herself if anything happens to Daciana. She will leave with the guilt for the rest of her life.

Her Queen is the only one she could relate freely with after what she has gone through, she couldn’t get too closed to anyone.

As much as she is a lively and free minded person, she didn’t keep friends until Daciana was brought in.

She have heard a lot of stories about what humans do to wolves in their captivity.

It is spine chilling and spooky for her to think about. It brought fears into her body.

Not even a scratch was on her body yet, her Queen is no more with them.

Right at that moment, she made a promise to bring back Daciana no matter what she has to do and sacrifice to see her Queen again.
