Kara smiled at them. “You are so great, Little Angels. Not everyone has the courage to make difficult

decisions.”

Emily spun around to face her. “We were inspired by Mommy. No matter what happens, we must

remain good people.”

Louis nodded in support of his sister's statement. “Now, since we have finished discussing, it is time to

execute our plan. Welcome back, Mommy, Daddy.” He handed a bouquet of flowers to his parents.

Not wanting to be left behind, Emily joined in holding the bouquet. “Welcome back, Mommy, Daddy.”

She gave them her best smile.

Frank and Kara laughed softly.

“Thank you, Kids.”

"Thank you, Little Angels." Kara welcomed the flowers and hugged them. After that, Frank's arms

wrapped around the three of them.

"Let's keep our palace safe," the man whispered.

"Yes."

As the twins bond with their parents, Susan and Philip exchanged glances. Their lips were curved, but

their eyes gave off the same impression. Anxiety.

When lunch time arrived, the twins excitedly walked towards the dining room with Frank and Kara.

Susan was waiting for them at the stairs.

“Grandma, are Uncle Jeremy and Mrs. Bell here yet?” Emily asked with sparkling eyes.

Susan shook her head weakly. "They have other, more important invitations."

While Emily pouted, Louis sighed in resignation. "Too bad. Maybe we should invite them over for dinner

tonight.”

Emily nodded cheerfully. “Yeah, that's a great idea. But the menu will be different. They must be

regretting missing lunch with us.”

Tightening her grip, Emily jumped down from the last step. Frank quickly matched her move. “You are

so enthusiastic, Princess. Really, what's our lunch menu?"

"Our favorite menu, Daddy. There are sandwiches and chicken salad. The servants have managed to

make it almost as delicious as what Mommy makes.”

"Is it true?" Kara let out a laugh.

"Yes!" Louis nodded enthusiastically. “We tested it yesterday. Now, let's hurry to the dining room,

Mommy. My stomach is already growling.”

While Louis pulled Kara's hand, Emily followed, dragging Frank's hand. Susan and Philip laughed

behind their backs.

Unfortunately, as they entered the dining room, their enthusiasm faded. Melanie had taken Kara's

position, while Barbara had sat in Susan's chair.

“Grandma, Auntie! Why are you sitting there?”

Melanie's eyebrows pressed against her forehead. “This is my old chair.”

“And this is my new chair. I want to get closer to my brother." Barbara shrugged her shoulders, as if it

were normal.

Louis and Emily's cheeks immediately puffed up. Before their anger erupted, Kara quickly calmed them

down.

“Little Angels, do you remember? You guys also fought over wanting to sit near Daddy in the past. Your

grandmother and aunt are the same. Moreover, they have been away from Daddy for a long time.

Therefore, how about we give them a chance?”

The twins' faces grew sour. However, after one quick breath, they muttered, “Okay.”

"Good. You are indeed smart kids." Kara rubbed their cheeks as if to wipe away the anger from them.

However, as soon as the two toddlers climbed onto the chairs, their mouths opened wide again. The

menu served was not only different from their requests, but also life-threatening. The dining table was

full of seafood, including shrimp!

“Why are there these creatures on the table?” Louis exclaimed as if it was a terrible thing. “Where are

our sandwiches and chicken salad?”

The servant on guard immediately lowered her head. Her fingers started to scratch each other. “S-

sorry, Young Master. This is Madam's request.”

"Impossible. Mommy can't possibly ask for these foods," Emily squeaked as she pressed herself closer

to the chair. Her eyes were fixed on a lobster with its eyes glaring at her.

"I asked for this menu," Melanie admitted casually. "Is there any problem? Barbara likes seafood. This Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

is the perfect dish to celebrate our meeting today.”

Everyone glanced at Frank. If Melanie really loved Frank, how could she forget about her son's allergy?

Frank cleared his throat slightly. While sitting in a chair that he felt was secluded, he took a deep

breath. “Then please start eating. Kara, you like shrimp too, right?”

A second later, his index finger went up. His eyes fell on the servant. “Nora, please prepare the menu

that Louis and Emily asked for. We look forward to it.”

Suddenly, Emily started whining. Tears flowed down her chubby cheeks.

“Darling, why are you crying? Be patient, your food will arrive soon.” Kara quickly wiped her tears away.

“Louis and I have planned a special lunch. But now, our plan has failed.”

“No, Honey.” Kara patted her daughter's shoulder. "Nora will bring the menu you planned immediately."

“But Louis and I had imagined all of us enjoying it together. We eat while listening to stories about

Daddy and Mommy's honeymoon. But, but ...."

Susan and Kara looked at each other. After one breath, they both got up from their chairs. “Honey, your

plan will not fail. Mommy and Grandma will do our magic. After our homemade sandwiches and salads

come, let's eat and talk together, hmm?”

Emily's cries subsided. “Mommy will make it?”

"Yes. Just wait for a moment, okay?”

While Kara and Susan left the dining room, Melanie looked at the twins with disgust.

Louis' eyes narrowed. “I think it's not us who have to learn to respect the others, but you. You are old

but you have no self-conscious," he grumbled.

While Frank massaged her temples, Melanie stared with her mouth wide open. The spoon she had just

touched was placed back on the plate.

“Did I hear correctly? You call me old and have no self-conscious?”

“Yes,” Barbara nodded as she cut the shrimp on her plate, “she had the nerve to call Mommy that.”

“Stop making a big deal out of it, Mom. Louis and Emily are still young. They can't control their emotion

completely."

"Yes," Barbara continued lightly, "they are still young, but they already have the courage to fight back. I

can’t imagine what they will do when they grow up."

Louis snorted quickly. He was really sick of facing those two witches.

"Emily, I want to monitor Mommy and Grandma in the kitchen. Do you want to come?"

Emily nodded. Without wasting any time, they slid down from their chairs and ran out of the dining

room.

"Look! They dare to just leave when we are advising them. You need to evaluate the way you educate

your children, Frank," Melanie urged.

Frank no longer answered. He was very tired. If he didn't have patience, he would also have left the

dining table.
