Chapter 138 Louis Harper And Emily Harper

Suddenly, the door opened again. A second later, two tiny faces peeked out from the gap.

"Can we go in now?" Louis whispered.

"No, Louis. Let's just wait for Daddy's signal."

Hearing that little conversation, Frank's stiffness faded. Taking a deep breath, he patted the back of

Rowan's hand. “Grandpa, you have two more visitors.”

"Who?" Rowan's eyes widened. He was a little afraid that the person was Kara. His heart could be in

danger against the anger.

Frank walked towards the door. As soon as he pulled the handle, two toddlers stared wide eyed.

"Can we come in?" Louis whispered with an adorable expression. Emily who was standing in front of

him subconsciously gripped the book and held her breath.

Frank sweetened his face and nodded. "Come in, Kids. Say hello to your great-grandfather."

Blinking, the twins stepped inside.

“Hello, Great Grandpa. How is your condition?"

“Are you getting better?” Emily continued, still with furrowed eyebrows.

Seeing the two little toddlers, Rowan was stunned. His mouth was agape, but his brain hadn't finished

processing the words. Weren't the two toddlers on the cruise? Then, why did they meet him in party

outfits?

Suddenly, Louis turned to Frank. “Daddy, it looks like Great Grandpa isn't very well. He couldn't answer

us yet. Should he get an injection?”

Rowan blinked. His eyes opened wider. "What do you call my grandson?"

"Daddy," Louis answered without hesitation.

The old man sighed in disbelief. One corner of his lips lifted, conveying an impression of disdain and

suspicion. Frightened, Emily hid behind her brother's back.

Frank also noticed that response. However, just when he was about to explain, Rowan laughed faintly.

"So, have you accepted Frank as your Daddy? Are you not angry with him anymore? Then, what about

me? Do you guys want to accept me as your great grandfather?”

Louis and Emily glanced at each other. They were both confused about whether it was a positive or

negative reaction.

"Yes, because you are our father's grandfather, so you are our great-grandfather," Louis stated,

shrugging one shoulder.

Rowan's laughter suddenly died down. His hand unexpectedly waved towards the twins. “Come here,

My Great-Grandchildren. Come up here and join me in conversation. Lying in this hospital is very

boring. I need entertainment. Sean, help me shift.”

While the assistant moved to carry out orders, Louis and Emily's eyes lit up. They didn't think the old

man could change so quickly.

“Aye, Captain!”

Then, they both raised their hands in front of Frank, waiting to be put on the bed.

“So, you two also attended the party on the cruise ship?” Rowan sounded friendly. His eyes were All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

warm, observing the details of the clothes on the tiny bodies of his great-grandchildren.

"Yes, when we heard Daddy was missing, we asked Jeremy to take us to the cruise by helicopter. It

turns out Daddy has returned safely. He asked us to stay overnight and attend the party," Louis

explained enthusiastically. He had forgotten that the old man was once his enemy.

“How do you think we look? Are we cool?” Emily asked while making sure the crown was still in place

perfectly.

Rowan's laughter returned to the air. "Of course. Harper's blood flows within you. You will always be

cool in whatever you wear.”

Emily smiled sweetly. Her heart got ticklish at the praise. "Thank you, Great Grandpa. You are also cool

even though you wear patient clothes. But, how do you feel, Great Grandpa? You look pale," she said

with pursed lips.

“Are you still having tightness in your chest? I heard that people who have a heart attack can have

trouble breathing.” Louis put his hand on his chest and demonstrated how someone is short of breath.

Rowan chuckled lightly. "No. I'm not short of breath. My chest just hurts. But now, look! I'm healthy

again. I just need to rest for a while."

"Thank goodness then," Emily nodded shakily.

Louis did the same, asking, "When you get better, do you want to play with us?"

Rowan stared wide-eyed at his great-grandson's round face. "What do you guys want to play?"

Louis elbowed Emily. The little girl rushed to hand over the guidebook to Rowan. “Louis and I have

made a list here. Can you read this?"

"What's this?" Rowan sighed as he turned the page. Emily deftly helped him. “This is our wish list.

Special for Great Grandpa, it's here.”

While Emily was busy with a book, Louis secretly turned to Frank. Receiving a nod from his father, he

smiled slightly.

"Those are the five things we want to do with you," he explained loudly. "If you have free time, would

you like to do it?"

Rowan put on his glasses and squinted. His lips started to murmur. “Visit the chocolate factory, go to

the toy store, have a picnic in the park, tour the Savior, take Louis and Emily to school.”

The twins' eyes widened waiting for a response. “How is it, Great Grandpa? Would you want to do all

that with us?” Louis whispered, hopefully.

"If you want, we will be a harmonious and happy family forever," Emily added in a voice as sweet as

cotton candy.

The old man's chin began to push his lips up. Taking off his glasses, he sighed, “You know what? This

is the perfect plan. The Harper family really needs a strong bond."

The twins' smiles grew wider. Happy laughter occasionally escaped their mouths.

"It seems that Great Grandpa already considers us his family," Louis whispered to Emily.

"Yes, he has returned to being a kind grandfather." The little girl nodded.

“Hey, what are you guys talking about?” Rowan interrupted, swinging his tune. "It’s true that we are a

family. I am your great-grandfather, and you are my great-grandchildren.”

Feeling happy, Emily gently stroked Rowan's cheek. “Thank you, Great Grandpa. I'm glad you can

accept us. From now on, I promise to be a good great-grandchild.”

"Me too! I'll be a good great-grandchild," Louis nodded, no less enthusiastic.

“I'm very happy that you guys want to make promise like that. But, do you know how to be good great-

grandchildren?” The old man raised an eyebrow.

Louis and Emily looked at each other. Their eyes widened, communicating telepathically.

"We have to study hard," Emily said, raising an eyebrow.

"Being the smart children," Louis continued with the same gesture.

"Then we will become successful businessmen like Daddy!" The twins shouted together with cheerful

faces.

"Are we going to lead the Saviors later?" Louis tilted his head.

While Rowan's gaze soared, the twins' mouths rounded.

"You agree to change our last name to Harper?" Louis asked in disbelief.

"That means ....” A smile was formed on Emily’s face. Her eyes met Louis’.

“Great Grandpa agrees that Daddy marries Mommy!" Louis and Emily cheered happily. They didn't

realize that Rowan's expression had changed.
