CHAPTER 32
CHAPTER 32
Few minutes after we left the hospital, we arrived at home.Ridwan wasn't home but we were able to
open the door with the extra he had given mother when she came to pick up some of my stuffs.
I walked inside and I could feel the sense of being at home again but then memories of what had
happened the other night flashed in my head. I looked around remembering all the memories I and
Ridwan had shared in this place. I loved all the good times more though, The times when we laughed
uncontrollably and just enjoyed each others company. The times when fall asleep while resting on his
arms while watching a movie or the times when he carried me all the way up to our bedroom after I
sleep off on the couch. His intentional love for me and how he cares about me. I thought about all of it
and didn't know I had started to tear up while standing in the centre on the living room.
"Teslimah my dear" mother said as she stood next to me with her hands on mine.
"You know you don't have to go if you don't want to"mother said but my mind was made up even
though I wasn't sure of what was going to happen from here on.
"No mother, my mind is made up. I should pack my stuffs from the room now" I said as I wiped the
tears off from my face and went towards the stairs.
I picked up most of the clothing I needed and all my other important stuffs. Mother also came up to help
me pack some stuffs. While we were packing I had seen some of my books about pregnancy and child
birth, the ones that had kept me occupied while I was always home alone. They brought back
memories of how much I was looking forward to having my baby.Mother had noticed how I was looking
at them.
"Do you want to take them with you" mother asked
"No, there is no need for it" I said then put then back on the table by the bed.
Few minutes later when we were done I had texted Ridwan to let him know I was home and we needed
to talk.
Not long after I had texted Ridwan, he was already at the door. My bags were packed and i had
arranged them by a corner in the living room.
"Hey, I am so glad you're back home" Ridwan said excitedly as he walked into the living room. He
looked like he had rushed down from work to get here as fast as he could.
I stood from the sofa then walked to were he was behind the sofa.
"Are you going somewhere" Ridwan asked confused as he saw the boxes I had packed by the side.
"That's actually why I called you" I said Content protected by Nôv/el(D)rama.Org.
"Let me leave you two to talk" mother said standing to go out.
I could see on Ridwan's face that what I was about to do was something he had probably never
expected and I knew it was going to break him. It was hard for me too but I knew one thing for sure and
it was that, we couldn't continue this way. I was tired and it felt like I was being choked.
