Chapter 1042 Did You Buy It for Her?

After picking Nathalie up from kindergarten, Patrick noticed that she was sulking the whole way home.

She had never been so upset before and for her, having her food hurt was more painful than anything

else.

Patrick was still in shock and didn't know whether to be surprised that Nathalie had a crush on a boy or

that she could be so aggressive.

They all said that Rosemary can be scary when she was angry, but even she wouldn't get into fights

outside. The problem was the little boy Nathalie fought with was very strong and he ended up getting

hurt badly.

Fortunately, his parents were reasonable and after they paid compensation, they didn't pursue any

further action against Nathalie. Of course, no one dared to hold Hayden family responsible either. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

However, this did not mean Patrick could accept Nathalie fighting with people. What puzzled him even

more was how could his daughter have a crush on someone already?

Back at the Hayden Mansion, Patrick sat on the sofa while Nathalie sat across from him. She hadn't

heard him ask her anything along the way home and asked if he was mad at her.

He ignored her because he didn't think what she did was right but also knew it wasn't entirely her fault

either.

Patrick said, "Nathalie, you're growing up now and have some secrets."

"I don't have any secrets," replied Nathalie confidently. "I tell everything to Mommy, you, brother and

sister."

"Then when did you start liking this boy? Why don't I know?" asked Patrick curiously.

"Today," said Nathalie firmly before frowning again as if something bothered her deeply. "But I don't like

him anymore because he's bad."

Thinking of all the delicious food that got wasted made Nathalie feel even worse about what happened

earlier today. She pouted and said, "I gave him my favorite cake without eating any myself but he threw

it all on the ground!"

The more Nathalie talked about it, the sadder she became until tears started streaming down her face.

Patrick felt sorry for his daughter who looked so heartbroken.

He asked, "So you're feeling worse because your cake is gone?"

Nathalie nodded pitifully then looked up at Patrick asking hopefully, "Daddy, could I have two cakes

please? My heart hurts so much. I need something sweet to make me feel better."

Patrick really didn't know what else he can say or do at the moment.

He could see that Nathalie didn't like that boy much. At most, she just thought he was good-looking.

However, if he messed with her cake, that was really going too far.

Patrick said, "Go wash your face clean. I will take you to buy the cakes."

Nathalie immediately jumped off the sofa and ran to Patrick for a kiss.

Snot and tears smeared Patrick's face, and Nathalie said with a smile, "Daddy, you're the best. I love

you the most."

Patrick was speechless.

Her love was just too heavy, and he really can't bear some of it.

Getting up to wash his face, Patrick took Nathalie to buy cakes, of course, also to pick up Aimee from

work.

As soon as Aimee got in the car, she saw two cake boxes beside Nathalie's legs and looked at Patrick

in surprise, "Did you buy them for her?"
