Myles' mouth twitched slightly, but he did not say anything.

Emily was really bold. Their boss had just brought her out to discuss a contract, but she was claiming a

status for herself here.

Henry turned to face Emily and asked indifferently, "What kind of relationship do we have?"

"..." Emily was at a loss for words. She let out a faint laugh and said, "Henry..."

"I don't want to hear that another time."

The corners of his mouth curled into a cruel smile as he ripped himself from Emily's grip and strode

forwards.

"Henry!" Emily shouted and chased after him.

Logan had been attracted by their loud argument. As Henry turned around to leave, he got a clear look

at his face. Those sharp features looked a lot like those he saw in the mirror every day.

His eyes lit up, and the spoon in his hand fell to the ground with a clang.

"Mommy! That man looks like me!" he exclaimed loudly.

His childish voice and handsome face attracted a lot of attention, including Henry's.

...

The waiter lifted the curtain for him. He stepped over the threshold but looked back instinctively when

he heard the child's voice.

His gaze swept across Logan's face and then fell on the slender woman sitting beside him.

"Who?" Luz was a little confused.

"Him!" Logan raised his hand and pointed.

Luz followed his finger and turned to look. Her grip on the cutlery tightened when she saw the man's

face.

She blanched.

"Henry Maynard?" Luz said slowly, reliving the name that had been hidden in her heart for seven years.

It was also at this moment that she felt the scar on her heart torn open again.

Henry saw her and knew it was her, but he did not show any expression.

With his dark eyes and pale lips, he stood there, wearing a simple white shirt under a business suit, a

perfect picture of the business elite.

His expression only changed when Declan turned around.

The two men stared at each other from a distance.

He slowly tightened his grip on the cigar and put it out in his palm.

After all this time, she still ended up with him in the end.

They even have a happy family of three now.

Henry pursed his lips and smiled coldly. He saw Logan, but he was not interested in another man's

child.

"Long time no see..." Luz tried for a smiled.

She did not expect to see her ex-husband Henry Maynard on the first day she came back.

"Mr. Maynard, I've heard a lot about you. I'm Declan of the High Tidustries." Before Luz could say

anything to stop him, Declan had already gotten out of his chair and held out his hand.

She choked on her words and felt her heart tighten.

Henry's gaze shifted from the woman's face to Declan's outstretched hand. A cold smile appeared on

his lips.

"I don't think I know you," he said. His hands were still in his pockets, and he gave no sign of returning

the handshake.

Declan's arm hung in midair awkwardly.
