Chapter 35: Love Couldn't Be Cultivated

Chapter 35: Love Couldn't Be Cultivated

Before Cathy answered, the man looked up at her and smiled softly, "But now she likes you too."

She was startled and suddenly felt unnatural. She turned her face to see Mila and pretended not to understand the meaning. "I like her very much too, and I hope she can be like a normal child. If my help works for her, I'd like to spend more time with her.

"Thank you, Cathy." The man looked at her deeply.

Cathy grinned stiffly. "Matt, we said don't say thanks to me. You help me so much. I should take care of Mila and I hope that she can be good sincerely."

Nothing was more important than a child. No matter what their relationship was, she couldn't ignore the child.

Matt looked at her, and wanted to talk several times, but in the end he just smiled and said nothing more.

The two chatted for a while, feeling that it was a little late, and the man got up. "Then I go back with Mila. You rest early."

Cathy stood up at the same time. "Well, I'll give you a ride."

The man looked at the little girl on the ground with a smile. "Mila, we're going home."

The girl was staring at the picture album intently. The man called her a few times before she looked up at him with her small face. After a few seconds, she blinked her big eyes and slowly shook her head. Matt was surprised, "Shake your head? You don't want to go?"

Mila looked at him, then turned her head to Cathy, and then nodded her head slightly.

The man didn't whether to laugh or cry and went over to carry her up. "But it's too late. We should go home and let the aunt rest. We'll come back another day, OK?"

Mila shook her head vigorously in his arms. She began to grieve. Then she pulled Cathy's sleeve with her small hands and pouted her lips slowly.

"Don't cry..." The man felt helpless, rubbed her head and cajoled softly, "If you want to see the picture album, let's take it on the way home and see it."

Cathy also grinned and pinched her face. " Aunt will give you the picture album?"

Matt nodded to her, "We're leaving. We can see ourselves out. Take an early rest."

Cathy took them to the door, looked at the small face lying on the man's shoulder. When she just waved to her, the little girl's cried suddenly. The tears quickly rolled down.

She was shocked. "Matt."

The man happened to see. He frowned, "Mila, what's wrong?"

She didn't speak, and she didn't know what was wrong with her.

Cathy looked at the little girl crying like she was holding her breath and dared not speak out. She couldn't bear it at once. She went over to take her back from his arms and said, "Let her stay. I'll take care of her tonight."

"How can we do that? You are pregnant and have to go to work tomorrow. I can't let her bother you. I'll take her back and cajole.

Cathy patted the girl on the back and smiled at him. "No problem. If I can't, my mother will help me. She must have more experience in cajoling children than we have."

Matt rubbed his eyebrows, "This girl..."

Cathy raised his eyebrows and joked, "You won't be jealous me, will you? Let her stay here all night and I will give her back to you tomorrow morning."

He accompanied with Mila everyday. If she was not be with him one day, he would not be used to it.

The man didn't know whether to cry or laugh by her words. "If you like it, you can help me take care of her every day."

"Well, I'll trouble you tonight. I'll pick her up tomorrow morning."

Cathy nodded. "OK."

"Call me if she keeps crying."

"Good."

They talked for a while at the door and Matt had to leave alone.

The child stayed. Mother was very happy. There was a child at home making here lively. She did not say much. But the her expression, Cathy was already understanding.

When she came out of the bathroom, the little girl had fallen asleep in mother's arms.

"You see, how cute this little girl is. Oh, it's painful that she can't speak."

Cathy, wearing pajamas, stood beside the sofa and looked down, thinking of something and muttered, "She's still young, she'll be fine."

Mother raised her head and looked at her carefully for a long time. She said earnestly, "You can think about Matt. I think he's really a good man. He's a gentle and considerate man. He can carry his family and career in a clear way."

Cathy was depressed for a few seconds. She drew up her clothes and sat down to lean on her mother's shoulder. She said softly, "Mom, I'm thinking about it, but love can't forced. You stop meddling in emotional matters."

Mother was stiff and then pouted her lips with guilty, "I do not get involved. I just want them to come over for a meal. He have helped us so many times. Saying thank you is not enough Besides, love can be cultivated. You don't hate him, and he looks like loving you."

Anyway, she felt that Matt was the most suitable person for the moment. She was afraid of losing this opportunity and she would regret it later.

Cathy looked up at her, expressionless. "Tyrone and I have cultivated for three years but there was no results. He doesn't hate me, and I like him very much. Now we are in this situation? If I divorce again, your daughter will be married three times."This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.

Cathy's mother choked and could not speak.

She was afraid that mother would get ideas into her mind. Cathy still dared not say more. She let her mother go to bed early, and held Mila to the bedroom.

Lying in the quilt, she returned a message to Matt. Just as she was about to turn off her cell phone to sleep, a phone suddenly called in. She was afraid of making a noise so that she immediately pressed the answer and did not see who was calling.

"Hello."

"Not yet asleep?"

Hearing the familiar man's voice, Cathy's face changed slightly. "What's up?"

Since the last time when they met at court, he hasn't contacted her for about a month. She thought he had figured it out and would never contact her again.

Hearing her deliberately suppressed voice, the man on the other side of the cell phone frowned, "Is it inconvenient?"

Cathy sat up and tucked in the corner of the quilt for Mila. She whispered, "Convenient. what's the matter? It's too late and I want to go to bed."

Her words directly complemented Tyrone's imagination over there.

She was going to sleep, but there was other person around her. She should be afraid of noising him. If that person has fallen asleep, they were in one room?

He didn't know why he thought so much, but Tyrone knew that he was chaotic. His chest seemed to be stabbed suddenly, and felt very uncomfortable.

"Tyrone, are you still there? What the hell are you doing?" Cathy found that there was answering over there. She could not help but frown and think it was a signal problem. She looked at the screen and saw nothing unusual.

"Tyrone..."

The second time she spoke. Suddenly the phone call was hung up.

She was stunned and looked at her cell phone for a long time inexplicably.

Was he wrong?
