Chapter 159
The servant never expected Bella to act so suddenly and crazily.
Bella pounced on me and aggressively scratched my face with sharp nails.
I had never expected Bella to behave so wildly.
Despite the pain in my ankle, I somehow mustered the strength to push myself off the ground using my uninjured foot and swiftly maneuvered backward.
Bella's assault proved to be incredibly fast and intense, making it nearly impossible for me to evade it entirely, although I tried.
Bella's sharp nails tore open my neck, leaving four bloody scratches.
I let out a sharp, involuntary intake of breath as a surge of pain shot through my body, causing me to instinctively cover my neck with my hand.
The servant reacted quickly, rushing to pull Bella away.
Unnoticed by anyone, the villa door had been opened from the outside just as Bella charged in.
As the servant approached the sofa, Bella was abruptly grabbed by the collar and forcefully tossed aside by a strong hand.noveldrama
Bella stumbled and clumsily fell to the ground, causing a chain reaction that resulted in a blue and white porcelain vase being toppled over and broken into several delicate fragments. The fragile vase shattered into sharp fragments, causing a deep, crimson gash on Bella's delicate complexion. The wound bore a striking resemblance to blossoming blood-red flowers. Bella let out a piercing cry of agony as she instinctively curled up on the ground.
She was taken aback by the unexpected outcome of her plan to disfigure me. To her surprise, her aim backfired, and she ended up being the one who suffered disfigurement instead. Lukas didn't even spare Bella a glance. He was on one knee, staring at me.
I instinctively placed my hand on my neck and locked eyes with the menacing figure standing before me. With a mixture of fear and concern, I gently uttered the name "Lukas." Lukas's face darkened to the extreme.
He never liked having servants walking around the house.
Normally, the villa rarely saw any servants. It was only because I had sprained my foot that he had arranged for a servant to take care of me.
But he never expected that under such circumstances, I would be injured by Bella in his territory.
Seeing the blood marks on my neck, Lukas's face became stormy and gloomy.
The servant cautiously said, "Mr. Strakovski, Miss Lopez suddenly went mad, and I didn't-"
Before the servant could finish speaking, Lukas turned abruptly, his voice cold, "Useless."
The servant shrank back, too frightened to say another word.
Lukas immediately called Martins on the phone, "Have Victoria come to Hil Crest One Residence to pick up this person.
Otherwise, I wouldn't mind sending a corpse back to him."
Lukas hung up the phone after saying that.
On the other end, Martins was stunned, not understanding why Lukas suddenly became so angry.
However, he didn't dare to dawdle around and quickly relayed Lukas's message to Victoria.
Victoria had just returned home and was informed that Bella learned that Ella Rhodes, and Gerald Hughes are getting a marriage certificate at the Civil Bureau Affairs early in the morning. She felt that I did not help her which led her to cause trouble at my place.
When she heard Martins words, her legs began to shake and she rushed out.
At Hill Crest One Residence, Lukas stared at Bella, who was like a dead dog on the ground. His eyes did not waver.
As he took each deliberate step, he

positioned himself directly in front of Bella, his gaze fixed downwards. With a hint of condescension in his voice, he uttered the following words, "I have never resorted to violence against women, but when a woman acted like a mad dog, I will not allow myself to be easily swayed by sentimentality."
After he finished speaking, he forcefully kicked Bella directly in her stomach.
Bella was directly propelled out of the way, causing her to slam into the wall. She groaned in pain and covered her stomach.
Despite the intense discomfort, she suppressed her fear and refrained from releasing any audible signs of distress.
She had a gut feeling that if she were to display her conceit in front of me, there was a genuine possibility that Lukas would really resort to ending her life.
She had grown up being pampered and indulged since her childhood, which made her arrogant today. She had never been exposed to such an abhorrent experience before.
Her snot and tears streamed down her face, mixed with blood, causing her to feel a strong sense of embarrassment and disgust.
Lukas turned around and said calmly, "Bring the medicine kit over here."
The servant hurriedly brought the medicine kit over.
Lukas opened the medicine chest and slowly took out alcohol to disinfect.
I sat up straight and raised my neck slightly.
Lukas used a cotton pad dipped in alcohol to disinfect me. Upon applying the cotton pad to my wound, I experienced a sharp pain, causing me to wince and move a little. "Don't move," Lukas said in a deep voice as he continued dabbing the cotton pad in the wounded areas.
I endured the pain and closed my eyes shut, my muscles tense and immobile.
Lukas looked at me as if he were
facing an enemy and snorted, "When
you let the mad dog in, you should have thought of this situation, so you wouldn't be facing
consequences like this."
I pursed my lips, opened my eyes slightly, and looked at him. I bit my lip and did not say anything.
I knew what happened today, and Lukas must be terribly angry.
But I wasn't sure about the exact reason behind his anger. It seemed like I didn't have a clear understanding of it.
As Lukas disinfected me, he said to the servant, "Cal the family doctor over and let him bring tetanus and rabies vaccines."
What do you think?
