A nurse walked in…

“How was everything? ” Lucas asked.

“Fine. She’s been discharged. ” The nurse announced.

“Aren’t you going to say anything about the D³ brothers? Serenity asked, almost stepping on Olivia’s toes.

“There’s nothing special about Serenity. Dylan is the oldest and he’s always busy with the family business and his own. Declan is an artist that loves flirting with girls on stage. Moreover, he’s single but a player. And the third among them is Daniel. He’s just like our beloved late Mason. Gentle and also an introvert and—

“Wow! Gosh I’m jealous, I’m almost close to tears. ” Serenity mumbled and hugged Olivia. Everyone looked at her and burst into a round of laughter.

“She’s an emotional Mom. ” Allison pouted and a single tear rolled down her cheeks.

“But this shouldn’t make you cry. ” Lucas uttered worriedly.

“Leave her, she’s just emotional. ” Mrs Ellison interrupted and carried Allison’s designer Dior hand bag.

Everyone walked out of the ward and they headed to the parking lot. A figure walked out of a Black Roll Royce car.

“Olly. ” The voice called. Olivia who had her back turned from the car turned around and gasped.

“Dylan. ” She called with a surprising expression on her face. Everyone looked at the two.

“Let’s get inside the car” Mrs Ellison whispered to the rest and they nodded.

“What are you doing here? ” She asked as she walked closer to him.

“Came for my test results. ” He replied with his eyes glued to her.

“Are you okay? ” He panicked as his hand moved to her cheeks.

“My best friend came for her pregnancy check up. ” She replied and he took her hand.

“Your family’s right. Dylan asked looking at Daphne who won’t stop staring at two from any moment on.

“She looks like you but different because of her blue eye balls. ” He complimented me. Olivia crossed her arms around her chest, looking at him as if he suddenly grew two horns.

(She scoffed) “So you find her interesting now. ” Olivia rolled her eyes.

“I will call you on the phone. ” Dylan rushed his words and stole a kiss on her lips.

“Are you leaving already? ” Olivia asked, looking at the rest.

“Yeah. The doctor just messaged me and this will be the nth time he will message me. ”

“Okay babe. Take care. ” Olivia replied and hugged him briefly.

“I should be the one saying that. ” He uttered, tucking her hair behind her ear.

“Won’t you get your rotten arse in the car Olivia. ” Serenity yelled with her head pop out of the car window.

“I’m coming. ” Olivia yell back

“She sounds jealous. ” Dylan chuckled.

“She loves Declan. ” Olivia revealed.

“She should take her mind off that flit. ” Dylan rolled his eyes.

“I should go . ” They said at the same time and burst into a round of laughter.

“Take care. ” Dylan whispered and walked away.

“Will you keep standing? ” Serenity yelled and rolled her eyes.

“Why are you always like this? ” Allison asked with her hand on her cheeks.

“I’m just teasing her. —

“And you think he won’t be mad at you. ” Allison interrupted.

“No. Olivia is always cool with things. ” She talked with confidence.

The opening of the car door drew their attention.

“Why are you a mood spoiler? Olivia asked with her mouth pouted together.

“Are you angry? Allison asked with a worried expression on face.

“Why would I, I know she’s teasing me. ” Olivia uttered as she rolled up her long sleeve shirt.

“The men? ” Olivia asked, looking for the third vehicle.

“They left already. ”

“Wow. We are left with the bodyguards —-

“Will you guys start the vehicle and let’s get out of here. ” Mrs Ellison said from the back.

“Okay ma. ” Serenity mumbled and drove out of the parking lot.

They were busy having a cool chat with each other when the car phone rang out.

“Is this not the clan infirmary line? Allison uttered, looking at Daphne with a worried face.

“Do you think something happened? ” Olivia added.

“I’m also thinking about what could happen. ” Mrs Laura mumbled.

“This is the third time. Do you think something has happened to the boss and then rest. ” Trinity panicked and rushed to pick the call. Serenity was busy driving with her second ear on the call conversation.

“Loudspeaker please. ” Daphne whispered.

“Hello sir Emerson. ” The voice.

“Who I’m speaking with please. ” Trinity asked with her eyes to glue the screen.

“This is one of the nurses in the clan infirmary. The workers on duty rushed Madison to the clinic seconds ago and she seems to be running a heavy temperature due to physical assault.

“Physical assault. ” Everyone screamed. Serenity stepped on the brakes which made the tyre squeaked out loudly.

“Who the hell hit my daughter? Is there an attack on the clan. ” Mrs Ellison questioned.

“No ma. The workers on the night shift saw her around Clarissa’s room, and she also passed out. ” she detailed.

“Get the hell out of that driver’s seat Serenity. ” Mrs Ellison yelled which made everyone tense while sitting.

Serenity rushed out of the car while Mrs Ellison took over. The drive to the clan was crazy.

“Oh heavens. In case this car stumbles to the other side, I’m asking for forgiveness of sin. ” Allison prayed quietly.

“Hahaha… And you think God will forgive you. ” Olivia laughed.

“Mrs Ellison, can you drive responsibly. ” Mrs Laura asked gently

“Not when my daughter is assaulted. ” She groaned.

“Wow! Just Wow! Do you wanna get us killed before our time Mom. ” Allison yelled at the brink of tears.

“Watch Out!!!” Everyone screamed at Mrs Ellison who was lost in thought.
