Anaya rushed back inside the mansion. And directed some maids to their duties she headed back to her room, she picked up her phone and called Emerson right away.

“Did I wake you up? ” She asked to take a seat on her baby chair.

“Yes you did. ” He groaned and sat up. He turns to see Daphne’s sleeping face.

“she’s just perfect. I don’t think I deserve her. She’s my lightning, she’s too young, too innocent for a man like me but thankfully she is changing everything about me. He faked a broken voice. “But I said I will make it up to you. I promise I’m going to make it up to you. I might come tonight, I might come tomorrow morning but I’ll make it up to you, don’t worry I’ll make it special.” He uttered, tucking Daphne’s hair behind her ear.

Anaya’s mood was ruined instantly. It was painful to her because she had planned the day, she planned how her birthday was going to be, she wanted to make it special. Only God knows how she has planned this day.

The new maids arranged the gifts in the second car he was planning to take along with him.

“Have you arranged the rooftop in a proposing way. ” He said on the phone.

“The dinner wear is here sir. ” A female maid approached him.

Daphne rolled over his soft bed as she whimpered along. She tried to open her eyes but the rays from the bright sun made her shut it back quickly. A shadow appeared to block the bright rays from her face. She blinked her eyes rapidly before she knew who the person was.

“Emery. ” She called with a groan in her voice as she made an attempt to sit up. He rushed to assist her.

“You are naughty. ” She laughed when she felt it was getting tense. ” I want to wash my face. ” She rolled her eyes and stood up but she fell back to the bed.

“Privacy,” he said aloud. Everyone left the couple to their world.

“I will select three ladies and send the rest back. ” He informed and carried her.

“Drop me down. ” She frowned at him.

“Because of the damage done. ” He replied and dropped her successfully in the bathtub.

“You weren’t gentle. ” She pouted trying to fight back her tears.

“I’m sorry. ” He apologized and crouched down to her level.

“It’s fine. ” She replied and wiped her tears.

“Daphne. ” He called her and she raised up her head to look at him.

“I love– Daphne shut him up with a deep kiss. Their tongue was fighting for dominance. She ran out of breath which made her pull away from the kiss.

“We are going to see my younger sister today right now. ” She asked as she opened the tub tap.

“Of course. ” He replied and took off his clothes. He got inside the tub and they shower.

“I don’t know what has happened to Allison, she keeps finding fault in everything having been doing since two weeks ago. ” He explained looking at the two weirdly.
