Chloe said, "I'm not doing this because of the emerald pendant. It's because I genuinely like you all, and I feel this is destiny at work." Hearing this, Ruby felt a strange lump in her throat. She wasn't the type to cry, but something about this moment made her eyes well up.

Jacob, witnessing the scene, was over the moon. He had thought his dream of connecting with the Shaw family was gone for good. But just when he was at his lowest, things took a turn for the better. Chloe truly was his amazing daughter, always swooping in to save the day.

"Alright, Chloe, go on and offer your godparents some tea," Jacob urged with a grin.

The Shaw family's butler, sharp as ever, had already prepared everything ahead of time. The moment Ruby decided to embrace Chloe as family, the tea was ready to be served. He approached with a tray holding two cups.

Following tradition, Chloe handed the tea over, "Godfather, Godmother, please enjoy your tea."

Ruby and Neil sat down, delighted, accepting the tea from Chloe with smiles.

After the simple ceremony, the Shaw brothers joined in. Isaac beamed, "I always wanted a beautiful sister when I was a kid, and now it seems my dream's come true."

Neil felt a whirlwind of emotions. They once had a daughter, but his four sons knew nothing of it. Ruby had been away a lot during her pregnancy, so the kids didn't see much of each other. Kash was at boarding school early on, and Isaac, Parker, and Wayne were just little kids, too young to remember. Their daughter had passed away the day she was born, a sorrow that lingered in Neil and Ruby's hearts.
