Devoted To You

Chapter 10 The child has been aborted as you wished

Susan pulled her dress around and struggled to get up.

She looked at her belly with a forlorn look, “I’m sorry I still can’t bring you into this world … when these things are over, I’ll come and stay with you.”

When she got up from the ground, her legs were still trembling. Gritting her teeth, she tried hard to ignore the heartfelt sigh of dismay.

Stumbling out of his house, Susan only felt that she couldn’t even stand up, and her clothes were already crumpled.

The scattered hair made her look like a madman, and all along the way, there were different kinds of eyes gawking at her.

There is playfulness, sarcasm, and disdain.

Susan walked forward obliviously until she stood in front of the hospital, and only then did she stop.

Her hands trembled as she paid. The nurse’s face was expressionless as she led her to the operating room. Susan squeezed her clothes tightly and looked at the door, unable to resist the urge to flee.

Two doctors came over and a couple of nurses strapped her to the operating table. Her legs were spread wide, exposing that place towards them.

But now, she could not feel the shame anymore.

The white light hit her face, and Susan felt like it was a nightmare, and when she woke up, it was probably over.

The uterus was dilated and there was no anesthesia. She only felt the cold instruments were filled with a chill that seemed to turn her into a block of ice from the inside out.

Without anesthesia, Susan could clearly feel the sensation of the thing being stripped from her body.

In a trance, she seemed to hear the child’s cries. He screamed so loudly and so truly that she couldn’t help but reach out and take him by the hand.

The pain in her belly caused her to break out in a cold sweat. The baby was being ripped from her body and then torn apart.

The child was not yet formed, just a red spherical thing. She looked at the baby and forgot about the pain she was feeling.

It was her still-formed child, her only support, and it was gone, he was gone.

Teardrops slipped from her eyes, one after another. When she was untied, the nurse gave a rare warm admonition.

Susan listened in silence, showing a bitter smile. Recuperate well, how can she do it well?

“… best not to have intercourse during this period, or the wound tear infection is very serious.” That nurse suddenly serious up.

Susan nodded feebly and immediately had someone come over to support her when she got down from the hospital bed. She only felt that every step she took was on the tip of a knife, and the person next to her could not bear it and said in a soft voice, “You will be fine in a few days, next time you should find a better man who loves you …”

“I still have things to do.” She pulled her hand out and squeezed out a smile, “Thank you.”

The nurse didn’t forcefully pull her again and watched her leave with the desire to speak.

Susan walked back from the hospital, step by step, with a white face. She no longer had any money on her, not even a penny.

When she came back, she looked peaceful, as if nothing had happened.

From the operating table, until here, she only felt there was a ray of hope, even without the child, she still had her father.

She still has her family, the child can still have it again, but what about her father?

He couldn’t stand the toss anymore. Susan looked at the long lights on either side of her, and there were moths passing in front of her eyes.Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.

Susan looked at the road in front of her, blood snaking down her leg, staining her red dress even more, but she acted as if she didn’t see it. When she reached the door of the house, Susan stopped and knocked on the door.

She looked at the door with a blank expression, she was tired, tired to the extreme.

There was no movement inside, so she knocked again. Until the door opened, she squeezed out a smile: “The child has been aborted as you wish, and the money …”

She smiled humbly; her eyes lost in thought as she looked at the person in front of her. And then the eyes slowly moved to his face, into his eyes, infinite sadness asked: “Can I have the money, my father’s situation, really cannot delay …”

The throat involuntarily swallowed that pain into the stomach.

Susan reminded again, in a somewhat urgent tone, “You said before that you would lend me money as long as the baby was gone, I’ve already had an abortion, if you don’t believe me you can touch it, he’s gone.”

She tried to reach out, to take his hand and put it on her belly to feel it, but the moment she touched it, Chandler dodged it.

“Susan, I really underestimated the extent of your cold-bloodedness.”

Chandler said sarcastically without changing his face, “You were dying to keep the baby, but now you’re changing your mind so quickly and making up that your father is seriously ill. I really didn’t think that you could be shameless to this extent.”

“I didn’t.” She said hurriedly, her hands wanting to touch him but not daring to actually do that. She cried urgently and her voice was hoarse from crying so much, “I beg you; I’ll do whatever you want me to do, give me money, okay?”

Chandler took a step back and said contemptuously, “Look at your appearance, change your clothes first before you talk about money.”

Before she could speak, the person in front of her quickly returned to the house and closed the door, as if he was afraid something dirty would come in.
