We all sat down, and mostly Alexandra and Alice chatted. The dinner was delicious, and we spent it in a cheerful mood. Actually, this family reminded me of my old one. It made me think the enmity between the two families was so meaningless.

That was the first time I thought if we could work together instead of against each other we could reach much more. And for the first time, I thought about maybe Alice and I could bring peace for the two families.

“Why are you so quiet, Gideon?” I raised my head, hearing Riccardo’s question
