Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 619

Chapter 619

The evasion in Rosalie's eyes made Sebastian nod, not wanting to put her in a difficult spot. "Alright, then. Have a good rest."

Rosalie nodded. "You too."

The moment she said so, she felt a warm kiss descend upon her lips.

Rosalie's eyes widened as shocked registered in them. Her arms were by her side, stiff as stone.

Just when she was about to push Sebastian away, he broke the kiss.

Rosalie's eyes were still wide open. Sebastian lifted a hand, and poked her nose lightly. "What's the matter? You look like I'm taking advantage of you, but I'm your husband. You won't hit me for this, will you?"

Rosalie smiled weakly, "No, I won't. It was just somewhat sudden, so I was a bit stunned."

"You look as though we've never kissed. Did I use to inform you beforehand before I kissed you?"

Rosalie nodded. "You did."

She didn't know what else to say.

“Alright, then. Next time I want to kiss you, I'll let you know. But sometimes, I might just give you a little surprise."

Sebastian wrapped his arm around Rosalie's waist and could clearly sense her body stiffening up and resisting his touch.

Without missing a beat, he said, "Rose, although we can't sleep together just yet, I'll respect your wishes. But we are husband and wife, after all. We can't possibly not have any physical intimacy. Will you reject me even just for a kiss?"

Sebastian didn't want to force her. He said it very gently and patiently, but his eyes were filled with pleas and doubts.

Rosalie didn't know what to do. They were indeed husband and wife, especially from Sebastian's point of view.

"Seb, perhaps because of the hormonal changes due to pregnancy, I don't really want physical intimacy at this point. It makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm sorry."

She could only make up a flimsy excuse to answer Sebastian.

He sighed, and let her go. "I did hear about this. I know pregnancy is tough on women, and they suffer from mood swings during the

pregnancy. I should be the one

apologizing. I won't kiss you so suddenly next time. Whatever it is, we'll talk about it after the baby is born. Everything will become better." Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Rosalie was very moved by Sebastian's kind and understanding words. He was always so considerate for her, whether it was before or after he lost his memories.

Putting all else aside, he was a flawless husband. She couldn't imagine a man more thoughtful of his wife than him.

She knew she was the one at fault for hiding the truth from Sebastian. Right now, the only thing she wanted was for him to regain his memories and realize that their marriage is a sham.

"Thank you, Seb. You're right, everything will become better. Get some rest. The doctor said that you can't stay up late."

"Yes, you get some rest too," Sebastian said.

With that, he left Rosalie's room.

Rosalie heaved a sigh of relief. After Sebastian left, she lowered her head and gently caressed her belly. "Baby, he isn't your father, but he'll be an excellent uncle to you."

She took a shower and laid on the bed, reading the email she didn't finish reading just now.

There was a research report regarding the medical institution treating patients with memory loss attached in the email.

Rosalie read through it carefully, not

missing any figure or even

punctuation in the document. However it was a technical

document filled with medical jargon that she didn't understand. She had to search it up online to understand the information presented.
