Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 616

Chapter 616

"1..."

Lily couldn't pinpoint her feelings. It seemed too much to say that she liked Sebastian, given that she had only met him a few times. Yet, if she said that she didn't like Sebastian, it didn't seem realistic. Sebastian was a very charming man, after all.

A man like him was very attractive to women. What's more, he was chivalrous with an air of graceful elegance about him despite his memory loss. Who wouldn't want a man as wonderful as him?

The hesitation in Lily's voice made Rosalie chuckle. "You do have a bit of feelings for him, don't you?"

Lily said uneasily, "Ms. Young, I...”NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.

"Call me Rose," Rosalie said. "Can I call you Lily? We don't need to be strangers."

"Alright, then," Lily said. "Rose, what I meant was that you two are still married. Regardless of the reason behind your marriage, it's not appropriate for me to have any feelings for Mr. Carter. It'll give me psychological pressure, too."

Rosalie felt slightly guilty at Lily's words. "I'm very sorry. I'm at fault for not being considerate enough. Please don't feel pressured in any way." She then added in hushed tones, "I will divorce Sebastian."

"But... Does he want to divorce you?" Lily really wanted to tell Rosalie who Sebastian really liked, but she couldn't say it on Sebastian's behalf when he himself didn't do so.

Rosalie's heart fell. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something, when her phone pinged.

She pulled her phone out, and glanced at it before putting it back into her pocket. "I don't know what will happen to you and Seb in the future, but I know what our future will be like. We'll certainly be divorced. Don't worry. If you like him, pursue him boldly. Don't bother about me, I'm just a passer- by."

"But I don't think you're just a

passer-by to him," Lily said in all seriousness. "Even if you divorce him one day and if he gets with another woman, you'll always be someone special to him."

"I'll stay far away from him," Rosalie immediately said. "No matter who Seb ends up with in the future, as long as a suitable woman appears by his side, I'll definitely keep my distance with him. Things won't remain the way they are now.

and

I said if, you two end up together, I'll divorce him immediately and leave."

In fact, she should have left long ago; it's just that many things happened subsequently, causing her to stay for so long.

"What if he can't bear for you to leave?" Lily asked.

Lily suddenly felt greed creep up her heart. She had only met Sebastian a few times, so what right did she have to ask that question?

She clearly knew that Rosalie was the woman Sebastian loved. She, on the other hand, was just a random woman who somehow got involved in the situation.

"No 'ifs"," Rosalie declared solemnly.

"Lily, I know what you're worried about, so please don't be concerned by that: Rest early. I'll head out first as I have something to attend to. Call me if you need anything."

At this point, Rosalie knew the more she said, the more pressure Lily would be under. It was better to let her have some time alone to think things through.

Lily nodded. "Okay."

Rosalie left the room.

Lily sighed and sat on the bedside, suddenly feeling a little irritable.

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door.

Lily thought Rosalie had come back; upon opening the door, it turned out to be Sebastian.
