Chasing My Pregnant Wife

Chapter 556

Chapter 556

"I am crazy! You're the only one I want, and I don't want anyone else," Theodore said desperately. "Since you don't want me, then leave!" "You didn't want me first!" Rosalie yelled indignantly.

"I've already apologized and admitted my mistake, but you're not coming back to me! What can I do?" he argued.

"How can I forgive you for a mistake like this? I can't go back to you just because you said sorry!" she snapped.

"At the end of the day, we still can't be together and you don't want me!" he shot back.

Theodore didn't care that he was acting shamelessly.

Rosalie stood outside the door, her forehead leaning against the door as she sighed.

She still couldn't leave just like that. She had known him for ten years, and although things ended in a bitter divorce, she couldn't just put down their decade-long relationship. She wasn't a robot that could coldly adhere to its program and to whatever the program dictated.

"Time can heal all wounds. You'll slowly realize that all these don't matter," she finally said.

Theodore smiled bitterly. "Yeah. You have a lot of experience in that regard. You've already let go of things so quickly, and are leading a happy life with another man."

"Isn't it good that I've let go of things?" Rosalie countered. "Or would you rather I be in misery and pain, like last time? This is your love for me, that I would never be able to let go of things, in pain forever and never able to find love with another?"

"That's right, that's how selfish I am!" Theodore said with a smile before tears fell down his cheeks. "I can't control myself, either. I don't want to be that selfish, but I can't hold

myself back. I just don't want to see you with Sebastian." Content

"But I'm already with him, and I even married him. What do you want me to do? I can't possibly divorce him for your sake!"

"Why not? Do you really love him that much? Rose, you might find it funny, but I think it's out of the ordinary that you decided to marry him. Perhaps it

was because you were broken-hearted and seeking comfort, or because of some other reason."

Rosalie sighed helplessly. There was another reason indeed, but she couldn't tell Theodore about it.

She had to bite the bullet, and insist, "There is no other reason, so stop guessing. Can you do as I say and open the door? I'll send you back first. We're still in a hotel, and everything's in a mess outside. Let's go back and talk in private when we go back, instead of thrashing things out here."

"Are you afraid I'll embarrass you?" Theodore said morosely, sounding like an upset child.

"That's not what I meant. You and

Grandma will be the ones embarrassed. She allowed us to come here, but you caused so much trouble and humiliated her. We have to think of an explanation to account for this. Come out, and we'll discuss what we can do. I'll think of a way for you."

Theodore had too much to drink. She was worried that something might happen, what with him locking himself up. A drunk man had no sensibility whatsoever.

Slowly, the noise died down from inside the room. Rosalie became increasingly worried.

"If you don't open the door, I'll get someone to knock it down. Open the door, please. Theo, I'm begging you. Open the door, won't you? Let me bring you back. I'm not begging you to do anything else. Just open the door. I won't scold you anymore."
