Chapter 2767
Chapter 2767
The rest of the people laughed.
The night came, and the entire city was shrouded in a mist of neon light. Daisie and Nollace returned to Taylorton after having their dinner.
Her hair was wet as she got out of the shower. Nollace took over her towel and helped her to dry her hair.
She sat in front of her dresser and looked at the person behind her through the mirror. There was a smile tugging at the corner of her mouth as she said, “Nolly, I’m really looking forward to our wedding.”
“Really?” Nollace gently dried the soft tips of her hair. “I’m looking forward to it too.”
“I can say that my life is perfect now, right? Since I can marry and walk down the aisle with the man I love
the most.”
He laughed out loud and leaned down to her ear “You know what? All the wishes in my life have come true as well.”
Daisie turned her head around. “What are your wishes?”
“Marry you, give you a wedding, and have our own kids.”
She was stunned. Slowly, her face turned red due to her embarrassment as she said, “Could it be that you’ve been planning this since a long time ago?”
“Perhaps from the time you appeared, I knew you were the one I was going to marry in this life,” he said.
Daisie stood up and hugged him. “Then I have something to tell you too. From the moment you appeared in my life, I knew that you were the man I was going to marry in my life.”
Nollace leaned forward and landed a kiss on her forehead gently. “I’m honored.”
Two days later…
Nollace and Daisie returned to Yaramoor. The royal wedding process was in the pipeline and received
much attention from the media.
Daisie received a lot of dresses and wedding jewelry from the top designers in the fashion and jewelry industry. There were so many of them that they filled her dressing room to the brim.
The maids were standing at the side while helping her to try on the dresses and jewelry.
Daisie was dazzled by all the dresses and jewelry. There were so many of them that she felt she was going to get buried under them.
When she couldn’t decide, Nollace’s voice rang out. “You don’t like them?”
The maids all retreated to one side.
“It isn’t that I don’t like them. It’s just that I can’t make up my mind. Is the royal wedding procedure always so complicated?”
She had to pick a few gowns out of a dozen sets. The problem was that she liked all of them. Nollace walked up to her and placed his hands on her shoulders. “Well, it’s kind of complicated, so you might need to prepare yourself. You will have a lot of things to do at the wedding that day.”
Daisie raised her head to look at him. “It’s okay. As long as you’re with me, I don’t mind it.” Meanwhile, Yorrick appeared outside the door. He knocked on the door and asked, “I’m not disturbing
you guys, right?”
Daisie turned her head to look at him and smiled. “Uncle Yorrick! What brought you here today?”
Yorrick was carrying an exquisite gift box in his hand as he said, “Your mother told me to give the gift to you in advance. She was worried that it might not make it in time.”
Daisie held her gown and walked up to Yorrick to take the gift box. “This is the surprise gift my mom talked about?”
Yorrick nodded. “Why don’t you open it up?” Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.
Daisie put the gift box on the table and opened it up. What appeared in front of her was a crystal crown. The biggest gem was the Pigeon’s Blood, an extremely rare and high-quality sapphire. Meanwhile, many diamonds of all sizes were embedded in the circlet, and even the circlet itself was made of moonstone.
She picked up the crown carefully and asked, “Did Mom design this for me!?”
Yorrick smiled. “Yeah. This is the only one in the world.”
Daisie put on the crown and turned around to look at Nollace. “Does it look good on me?”
Nollace nodded. “Our mom is right. It looks good on you.”
“Alright, my job is done here. I’m going to excuse myself now.”
After Yorrick left, the maids left as well.
Nollace approached Daisie and helped her to adjust the crown on top of her head. After that, he led her to the mirror and said, “See? You look gorgeous.”
