Chapter 8
Goden Bran heard the door of the study being opened and closed. he did not sip his favourite black coffee.
He spilt the papers and could not settle down. His brain was a muddle and he was striving to make sense of what had happened today.
He walked up and growled slightly as he discovered kiss marks on her nec
“You can’t wait to find another man before we even get divorced?
He stood by the window, smoking a cigarette.
Ava was shocked to see him as she got in.
Ava attempted a grin at his icy look.
“Have you eaten yet?” she said in a chilly voice.
Goden Bran narrowed his gaze and approached her.
He gazed at her furiously, like if she had done something wrong.
“Ava Lins, We are not even divorced yet ”
He grinned, took her by the wrist and pulled her in front of the glass. He persuaded her to lift her head so that they could finish kissing her on the neck.
Ava was taken aback. She was completely unaware of the fuzzy mark that was on her neck…
“please hear what I have to say, it’s not that, it’s I…”
“You are in such desperate need of a man to fulfill your lust for sexual pleasure.”
How could he talk about her in such a nasty manner?
When she reached out for him, he pushed her away from him. “Don’t put your hands on me!
After he had gotten by her, he reached under the couch and grabbed the keys to the vehicle
“Ugh!”
She struggled to keep up with him and eventually fell to her knees before standing. On the other hand, he slammed the door and ran away.
Her ankle burned so badly that she had trouble standing due to the pain. It hurt so badly that she felt like crying out in agony.
Goden Bran accelerated,
The car pierced the air like an arrow, kicking up a breeze that propelled the withered leaves into the air and away from the area.
He pressed his foot onto the accelerator, which caused the car to speed up.
His heart sank as he saw the blue lights and siren ahead go out, and he jerked the wheel around in response, hitting the railing while just avoiding hitting the truck.
The headlights on his car blazed, he destroyed several fences, and the hood of his car opened up.
Goden Bran’s fists balled as he raged
He slammed the door, still infuriated. “SHIT!”
Ava Lins waited for him all through the night, but he did not return.
She prepared breakfast in the hopes that he would be able to eat it once he returned home . When the doorbell rang, Ava assumed that her boyfriend had arrived home safely and hurriedly answered it.
Goden Bran’s assistant was the man standing at the entrance, and he was the one who assisted Goden Bran in gathering his possessions.
Ava was upset.
She knew that Goden would feel ill if he drank coffee without eating in the morning, so she prepared a delicious meal for him and had her assistant bring it to the company.
It took her over an hour to bring him a food.
However, Goden Bran spent less than a minute before throwing the package away in the trash can.
The Assistant let out a little sigh, but he knew he shouldn’t say anything further.
When Goden Bran’s phone rang, he looked at the display for a while, furrowed his brows, and then pressed the button .
“Do you remember making a vow to your mother that you would end up divorcing your spouse? After such a lengthy search, I have finally found some lovely girls for you. When do you plan on going on a date?”
Goden Bran furrowed his brows and asked in a mumbled tone, “Can not you gently get some whores for your son?”
“What do you mean, none of them are better than Ava Lins?”
“Do you realize that the fate of the woman is tragic, but that she will provide unfortune to her husband? Take a look at her family: her father is a gambler, her sister has a disability, and her brother is still in school.”
“Mom!”
“If you do not provide me with a suitable daughter-in-law, I will bother you.”This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.
“I will take one home today.”
Goden Bran gave Belli Tannu a call not long after he ended their conversation. “Wait for me to get off work, and I’ll be there to pick you up and take you to see my mother,”
Belli Tannu hung up the phone, but it rang again.
Ava Lins asked Belli Tannu, with a downcast expression on her face, whether she was free to hang out tonight.
Belli Tannu said that she was going to spend the night at the home of her friend’s parents.
Ava was overjoyed for her, but she mumbled to herself, wondering why she could never find anybody who loved her…
She was unaware that she was in the middle of a conference while she clutched the pen. Her colleagues couldn’t take their eyes off of her.
A frustrated voice cried out, “Ava Lins!” in the distance.
As she glanced at the manager, she felt a mixture of shock and embarrassment.
The manager’s cheeks began to heat up as he waited for a response before asking, “Do you have any concerns with the choice we just made?”
“There are no problems!” Ava gave a little nod in response.
How dare she speak up during such a pivotal part of the event? She was completely unaware of the scheduled gathering.
This undertaking will be overseen by Ava Lins as the project manager.
“Given that this is the first time the company has done business with Ciqi Group, we have no choice but to take it seriously.”
“I have already contacted the Ciqi Group guys that you would be responsible for this project starting today,” he said to Ava, who was stunned and perplexed by his words.
