Beloved Old Lover

By the time Emily returned to the alley, it was already seven o’clock at night. Because she was in a bad mood, she changed her mind.

She told the driver to drop her off at the park, go for a walk alone and sit on a bench, watch the lake sparkling with electric light, review old memories, then make up her mind to let go of the past, then return.
