The atmosphere at Harapan Mulia Hospital was now happy because Gifer’s surgery was successful. Gifer has been moved to the hospitalization room. Belvina, Anggi, and Haris were already there while waiting for the doctor to open the bandages covering Gifer’s eyes. Gifer had been conscious since he was moved to the hospital room and the doctor had also checked all his organs. Now Gifer was sitting on his sickbed as the doctor slowly opened the bandages on his eyes.

“Wow, why am I the impatient one?” Anggi replied excitedly.

“Yes, I’m impatient too.” Haris said.

“Shh, be patient, Anggi.” Belvina held Anggi’s shoulders until the girl glanced at Belvina with a smile, showing her white teeth.

The bandages began to be unwrapped slowly, starting with the right eye first which was released from the bandage with a closed state, then the left. Opening the cotton that was still attached to both eyes.

“Try to open your eyes, Gifer.” The doctor ordered.

Gifer immediately opened his eyes slowly, the first thing he saw was the light from the sunlight coming through the window of his hospital room. Adjusting himself to look around. The doctor waved his palm right in front of Gifer’s eyes.

“Gif, can you see me?” The doctor asked.

Gifer tried to look at the tall man wearing a white coat and one nurse. He nodded in response.

“Yes, doctor. I can already see you.” Gifer looked at the collar of the doctor who was smiling at him.

“Let’s see your friends. Can you see them?” The doctor asked once again.

Gifer tried to circulate his eyes towards Belvina, Anggi, and also Haris. The doctor tried to point out who were the people in front of him.

“Who is this?” Doctor Ricard pointed at Belvina. Gifer immediately responded well by pointing at those people.

“You, must be Vina, right? I felt your face when we were at the beach.” Gifer said which made Belvina touched, it turned out that her lover did recognize her even though she couldn’t see. Belvina immediately hugged her lover’s body.

“Do you recognize me, dear?”

“Yes, I can definitely recognize my boyfriend’s face.” Gifer pinched Belvina’s nose.

“Hahahaha, guess who I am?” Anngi asked.

“Of course, you’re my girlfriend’s friend, Anggi, right?”

“Hahaha, yes.”

“You forgot about me, Gif?” Haris quipped with a frown on his face.

“Hahaha, no, Haris. I always remember you, you are my best friend, when I was blind, you always helped me, I must have been very troublesome for you huh? Sorry.” Gifer replied. Haris immediately approached Gifer and hugged him.

“Hurry up and recover, then we’ll go back to Indonesia. I don’t feel at home, the weather in America is so hot because it’s summer.” Haris complained further advancing his lips.

“Hahaha, alright.” They released the hug and immediately let Gifer be examined by the doctor again.
