Chapter 3379 Could Not Bear To Give Up
Jared could distinctly sense movement within the spirit beast egg, but when he used his spiritual sense to probe it, it could not penetrate the beast egg at all. Besides, when he did that, the spirit beast egg seemingly reacted.
The peculiar patterns on it abruptly emitted colorful lights.
The lights shot into the sky and exploded like fireworks.
Immense fright struck Jared, upon which he hastily retracted his hand and gaped at the spirit beast egg that emitted colorful lights.
The colorful lights appeared particularly eye-catching in the dark and gloomy Celestial Battlefield.
All those who had entered the Celestial Battlefield saw the colorful lights.
"What kind of magical item has been unearthed?"
Pablo was suspended in mid-air right then. Beneath his feet was the dead body of a demon beast, and a bloody beast core was in his hand.
The instant he caught sight of the colorful lights, murderous intent blazed in his eyes.
No matter the person who obtained that magical item, he was determined to fight for it without hesitation.
Mercy did not exist in the Celestial Battlefield, much less emotions.
Everyone's sole goal was to get their hands on the magical items they wanted.
People started heading in the direction of the lights.
By then, Jared had already taken his hand off the spirit beast egg, so the lights were slowly fading.
Nonetheless, his brows were creased deeply, for he knew the lights earlier must have attracted others' attention.
He did not want to attract any attention since he was only there to hunt for magical items and had no plans to fight.
Presently, however, there was nothing he could do about it.
"Mr. Chance, I think we should leave this place as soon as possible with this spirit beast egg. Someone is bound to come in a while," Rosetta urged after glancing around.
I can leave with this spirit beast egg, but isn't it too great a pity not to absorb and put the rich celestial energy here to good use?
Following a brief contemplation,
Jared lowered his head and picked out four magic swords from the pile of weapons. Then, he drove them into the ground in the four
respective corners.
All four magic swords had defects, but he could not be bothered about that right then.
Subsequently, he began drawing arcane arrays under the four swords. Mysterious arcane arrays took shape, one after another.
On the heels of that, he connected all of them together.
In no time, a massive arcane array was completed through his effort alone.
Rosetta stared at Jared in shock, never having expected the man to be capable of drawing such an enormous arcane array.
Jared was already drenched in sweat at that moment. Still, he did not give up but continued drawing.Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.
When the last stroke of the arcane array was completed, bursts of white mist promptly materialized from all around and enshrouded Jared and Rosetta. From the air, the area would appear entirely white, the situation within obscured.
On top of that, the arcane array could block spiritual sense. Even f someone wanted to use spiritual sense to probe into it, they would never succeed in discerning anything.
“Please keep guard over me for the time being, Ms. Lothian. I'm going to absorb the celestial energy here. Once I'm done, we shall leave this
place," Jared said to Rosetta
"Don't worry, Mr. Chance. I'll keep guard over you to the death."
Rosetta gave a dip of her head.
Jared swiftly sat cross-legged and closed his eyes lightly. His body started absorbing the celestial energy around him rapidly.
Focus Technique circulated at lightning speed, and he unleashed all of his potential.
He had no other choice either since he simply could not bear to give up the rich celestial energy there.
While he was cultivating, a middle-aged man appeared a near distance away.
Glancing around, the middle-aged man frowned. "This should be the right direction. I couldn't have made a mistake. Why can't I see them anymore?"
It was all too clear that he was searching for the colorful light beams earlier to see the exact kind of magical item that had emitted such dazzling lights.
