back?"

balcony. "I didn't see him when I came down earlier. Maybe he went back to get something he forgot?"

"Your legs are recovering very well. At this rate, we can start preparing for the surgery in another half a

month," the mysterious doctor said happily. "Once I cure you, I can go back to my old happy life again."

Hesper raised an eyebrow at his words. "Why do I feel like you're desperate to leave? It's not like

someone is holding a gun to your head to treat me."
