It was the first time Hesper and Rickard went to an amusement park, so neither of them knew about the

Hesper had her eyes closed and couldn’t see what was going on, so she didn’t know how gentle
Rickard’s eyes were when he looked at her.
The machine slowly climbed higher and higher. Hesper kept her eyes shut tightly and only felt a sense
of danger, as if the next moment, she would die of fright when the machine dropped.
The young woman next to her started screaming and that made her even more nervous. Finally, the
moment the drop happened, the machine zoomed downward at high speed.
