Hesper frowned but Rickard continued. “Well, do you accept?”
“Sure, I’m not the one giving away money, so why wouldn’t I accept?” Even though she didn’t know
what Rickard was planning, she really missed Renfrew. She was willing to accept any suggestion that
Rickard gave, even the unreasonable ones.
