His eyes were bloodshot as he stared daggers at Yuexi. But it appeared as if he was looking someone else through her. It seemed that this man had been deeply hurt in the past by someone. Nevertheless, he can’t take his anger on any random stranger.

Yuexi covered her stinging cheek and coldly stated, “You know nothing, so don’t poke your nose in others affairs. Don’t point your fingers at me randomly. I’ll call the police if you come close again!”

Hearing that she wanted to call the police, the expression on man’s face changed. The man’s temper flared and rushed to beat her but was again grabbed by Xu Ziqi. Xu Ziqi stepped forward to stop him but was hurled away by him.

She grunted in pain as she was thrown on to the ground by the impact. As if he was possessed, the man lunged at Yuexi and threw her to the ground, tearing her clothes and pulling her hair in the process, “Bitch! Bitch!”

There were the only customers in the café. When the waiter heard the shrieks, he quickly rushed over to stop the man but was thrashed by him.

. The waiter quickly got up but didn’t dare to get close to the man again. He looked at trembling Xu Ziqi and helped her up. Xu Ziqi was so scared that she couldn’t speak.

As the man howled at her, he became more and more irrational and grabbed Yuexi’s neck. Yuexi’s face grew red as she tried to push him away but to no avail. She looked at the waiter and gasped, “Call … Chen Ying …”

The waiter quickly found the phone on the ground, and said with a trembling voice, “I’ll call the police first …”

“How could there be a mad man?” Chen Ying apparently didn’t believe that a person could beat any random stranger. She then stared at Xu Ziqi with suspicion.

Xu Linchen guarded his sister carefully behind him and stated, “My sister is such a fragile and pure woman, she will never do such a thing. Besides, she was injured as well.”

During mayhem caused by the man, Xu Ziqi’s head hit a sharp object and was bleeding..

“Well, who knows.” Chen Ying snorted coldly, and then turned to lift Yuexi from the chair, saying worriedly, “Are you all right? Let’s go to hospital first.”

Yuexi nodded. When both of them were were about to leave, they heard Xu Linchen saying, “Let’s go together.”

Chen Ying refused flatly, “No need! Who knows what you are up to? Just a meeting with your sister made Yuexi hurt like this. If there was a fight, Yuexi may have already died here!”

Li Fengjue quickly pushed Xu Ziqi away, to chase after Yuexi, but was blocked by Xu Linchen.

“You promised your family that you will cultivate your relationship with Qiqi.”

Li Fengjue coldly stared at him, “Move!”

“Today you must go back with Qiqi!” Xu Linchen did not step back.

Li Fengjue’s eyes deepened as he glanced at the retreating back of Yuexi, and clenched his fingers into fists.
