A Girl’s Diary

Chapter 38 - Midnight Coffee Race

Chapter 38 - Midnight Coffee Race

"Let's start slow, then we can get to your favorite part," Tommy said giving a creepy smile. I wanted to

snort.

"You mean the exciting part?" I winked. This was even better than the games!

"No," He gulped. Such a drama queen! "I mean the frightening part." He said with wide eyes. Again, a

freaking drama queen!

"You'll do it for me?" I asked. "I won't let you say no," I shrugged. If I gave him a chance to talk we'd

end up playing games for three-year-olds. "You're not a scaredy kitty, right?" I cocked a brow while he

gave me puppy eyes. Nah! Not gonna work today, buddy! "I won't let you answer that either," I said

doubling over in laughter.

"That's the spirit," Tommy said smiling warmly. His smile reminding me of cotton candy... I wanted

cotton candy! "Now, let's go have some fun!" He all but screamed.

"I want cotton candy!" I said.

He blinked. "What?"

"Cotton. Candy. Now."

"Okay, let's go get some then." He raised his hands in surrender. I didn't need to be told twice. I walked

straight to where I could get some. Kids were everywhere!

"Not pink though!' I told Tom still focusing on the task in hand. Kids were increasing, I was close. I even

spotted some holding cotton candy. A few seconds later, I found him. I wanted to scream in joy! "I want

two... very very very big two, please" I said to the guy making the cotton candy. He smiled. "Colorful

too!" I grinned. "Tommy, money!" I turned to face him.

"I'd have paid anyway." He murmured sheepishly.

"Because you're 'a major gentleman'" I air quoted.

He shook his head. "No, because you're annoying." He rolled his eyes.

He was so going to pay for this!

But first, cotton candy!!

I took mine, it looked like a storm of colors. Like putting a rainbow in a blender!

I wanted to take it all in one bite. Unfortunately, my mouth would definitely protest. I decided to devour it

in big bites.

When I felt that my whole body was saturated with sugar, I had too much energy to play. "Now, let's

gooo!" I screamed running away. My legs carried me to the roller coaster.

"Twinkle, can we talk about this?" I shook my head. There wasn't even much of a line. There was no

talking! It was revenge time, Tommy.

Tommy looked so pale like a ghost. Maybe I should have made him get on? Nah! He'd be fine.

"Having fun Tommy?" I asked him when the train was so close to the falling part.

He gulped hard. "No!" His voice was so hoarse almost making me regret this. Almost. He screamed

like a little girl the whole time while I laughed at him like a maniac. Imagine his girlfriend seeing this!

Maybe I should take a video?!

When the game was finished, I wanted another turn. I still had tons of energy! However, it was closing

time. Life was seriously too harsh!

I wanted to cry at the tragedy. Better hold it!

"Wait here," Tommy said running away. Was he going to vomit? What was I supposed to do alone

here? Maybe work on my songs for a while... I needed them to be finished by the end of this month

which frankly, wasn't a lot of time.

I sat on the ground cross-legged and got my phone out.

I worked and let me tell you, it was beautiful!

"So, I have good news and even better news," Tommy said. I looked up at his grinning face!

"Let's go with the good news." I smiled.

"I didn't vomit!" He said proudly. What? Now, I really snorted. "The better news is..." I could practically

hear the drumrolls. "We could stay here all night." Say what now!

I screamed in excitement. I was riding every single game five times!

"Twinkle, I know you will say no but it's worth trying." He paused. "Can we take it slow?" He pleaded.

"Okay!"

"What?" He asked with wide eyes. "You can't back on your words now!" He ran to the kids are taking

my hand.

Two hours later, we returned to my type of games. We couldn't jump on trampolines all night, can we?

I lost my thoughts and went to having fun mode!

"Tommy, is that the sun?" It was so beautiful! Wait a second, we were playing here all night?! I didn't

call mom, she would be worried sick now. I checked my phone to find hundreds of missed calls!

I was so dead. I tucked it back; I didn't need to know who it was.

"Calm down, I already called your mom." My saviour!

"I love you!" I kissed his cheek.

"Yeah, I know." He smiled. "I'm the best. You tired now?"

"Dying!" I said dramatically.

"Then let's go!"

We went to the house his family owned. The one located in the forest. It always reminded me of castles

made for werewolves!

"That is seriously luxurious!" I said feeling fascinated. I'd always loved that place!

"Says the girl who lives in a mansion!" He mocked me.

"Well, so do you!" I shot back. "Are you sure you're not a werewolf?"

"Says the girl with silver eyes." He shot back. "Maybe you're a vampire!" I squinted my eyes hoping to

look dangerous.

"Answer the damn question, wolf boy." I said. Making my voice drop an octave.

I'm a dangerous woman!

"Does the bear live in the woods?" He asked.

"Are you stupid?" Were we playing thirty questions or what? "Of course he does!" I rolled my eyes.

"Well, then I'm totally human." He answered.

"Prove it!" I challenged him. The hell was wrong with me?!

He sighed. "How many times did we spend on the roof watching stars while the full moon was shining?"

Plenty!! "Twinkle, is the lack of sleeping playing with your head."

"Maybe!" I murmured.

"You know where your room is?" He asked. I knew where the bed was. Anything else wasn't even

important. Including the fact that I had to go to school now!

Sleeping was more important for my health. I wouldn't endanger my life for school!

I woke up thinking I had to go to school. But my brain worked better telling me it was night!

Did I really have to go to school tomorrow? Was that even worthy of my thinking right now...

Yup! Not worthy thinking about. The thing really worth thinking was... what was that smell?

"Pizzaaaa!" I screamed running all the way downstairs... still screaming by the way to find a very

surprised delivery man at the door with Tommy holding boxes of pizza.

I took a closer look.

One... two... three... four... five boxes. What?

"Stop drooling," Tommy said once he paid the delivery guy. "I made you lots and lots of coffee too."

You are my destiny

"Can I hug you?" I sniffed the the air searching for my coffee.

"I could be a werewolf and it's a full moon. Do you really want to risk the hug?" I pondered over his Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

words for a second. Yup. I was risking it.

I hugged him. Hard.

"I'm all big on hugs but maybe we should eat first?" He said. My stomach growled in response making

him smirk then giggle.

"That wasn't me!" I mumbled walking away to the couch and turning on the TV. Time for some breakup

party!

After watching Netflix for six hours straight, I was tired. Also, my stomach hurt. Never ever try to eat

three pizzas on your own.

How many cups of coffee did I even drink!

I drifted to sleep despite the coffee marathon I was having but fortunately woke up at noon like a

normal human. Wait a second, nearly like a normal lazy human. Yup! That sounded accurate!

"Want pizza for breakfast?" Tommy asked. Noooo! I didn't want to even see pizza again in my life.

"Did I ever say no to pizza?" I said betraying myself. Dammit!

I went to take a peaceful shower. Only that it wasn't so peaceful!

Tommy banged on the door in minutes. "Elenaa!" He shouted. Could I ever really do one thing calmly?!

"Aurora needs you. Says it's an emergency!"

Oh!

Fuck!
