A Girl’s Diary

Chapter 33 - Hallelujah My Ass!

Chapter 33 - Hallelujah My Ass!

After a good night's sleep, a coffee marathon, going home and taking a shower. I went straight to

Tommy's.

He kept explaining his plan which was simple enough to be dumb. But non-suspicious! We'd take

pictures and he'd send them later telling them we were on a field trip with the agency team.

Simple!

I would have to act on the phone all like 'I really want to come but I just can't'

So, that was what happened exactly. Ron was like 'Okay' So, I was like 'Hallelujah!'

Right now, I was adjusting my mask and trying not to look anything like Eli. I suggested that Sky go with

Ron instead because the girl would be on cloud nine!

When Ron came with Sky, my first thought was: should I tease him?

"Hey again!" I greeted Sky. She grinned a full toothful grin.

"You remember me, right?" She squealed.

"Sky, right?" I asked sounding a bit unsure. As if I could ever forget her name! "Okay, why don't you sit

over there. I'll go get my guitar, Ron."

"Okay!" They said in unison.

"On second thoughts, Ron can you coke help me for a sec?" I asked him. I was going to tease him but

not in front of Sky. Why? Because it would be a nuisance later.

He gave me a curt nod and went behind me. I got my guitar and just as I was about to talk, he opened

his mouth.

"No, that's not the girl I like." He said sheepishly making me giggle.

"No? Then who were you trying to empress?" I asked raising a brow.

"Another girl." He smiled to the ground. Cute!

"I'll leave you for now. But this is not done. You'll not escape." He blushed a bit, coughed awkwardly

and went to our recording studio. For some reason, I really liked training there.

After one hour, I decided I was done for the day. I mean I wouldn't leave Sky to stay and listen to the

sound of my failure more. That was part of why you should never meet your heroes in real life!

"So, since this is done, who wants coffee?"

"My best friend is addicted to coffee." Sky said with a smile.

"I take it you're not a fan of it?" I asked.

"I like laté! Doesn't taste like coffee." I wouldn't argue again. I argued one time with her and we spend

three hours talking about coffee.

"But isn't laté made of coffee?" Ron asked. Screw you, Ron.

The next three hours were spent talking about coffee. I was murdering him later. But I participated

saying the opposite of whatever I said as Elena! Smart!

It was an easy conversation until Sky decided to bring me up. "You know you remind me of Eli!" She

said and my heart stopped. "I would have thought you're Eli if she wasn't with Tom right now." OMG!

"Is that your friend?" I asked keeping my smile on.

"Come to think of it, you sound like her," Ron said.

Abort! Abort! Abort!

"Look here." She opened her phone and got closer. "She even looks like you." Sky said showing me

the photo I took with Tommy this morning!

"Well, maybe. But I can't really see much resemblance." I said feeling a bit nervous but not daring to

show it. "What about we take a picture so you can show it to your friend?" I said driving the

conversation to an end.

Sky got overexcited but everything ended well. I was about to head straight to Tommy's. How so ever, I

didn't want to hear him brag about it. Nor did I want to meet his sister by coincidence. That girl was the

only one in her family that didn't know about me being Cinnamon. Why? Because I didn't like her.

I roamed the streets letting go of all the pressure. Especially, since I had to go to school again

tomorrow!

My legs carried me to the one calm spot I went with Ron to. I sat at the edge of the lake with my shoes

off and let my toes touch the cool water.

"What are you doing here?" I heard Ron's voice.

Was I imagining him? I was going crazy?

Oh. My. God.

"Shana?"

"I'm really going crazy," I muttered under my breath.

"Is that a way to greet your fake boyfriend?" I turned around and slapped his leg. "Shana? That's not

how we high-five in real world."

Shit!

He was real!

"Did you ditch the trip or what?" He asked sitting beside me.

"You know me too well!" I laughed lightly.

"So, you know you owe me because you ditched me." He said.

"I don't owe you anything and I don't have to do anything but keep talking." I did want to know the rest

of what he was saying.

"I'll stop talking about Cinnamon since you hate her." He smiled.

"Thank God!" I breathed dramatically.

"But you have to do one thing for me..." He trailed focusing on my reaction.

"And that is?" I raised a brow

"Be my slave for the rest of the day."

"What? What do you mean?" I asked in confusion. "You kinky pervert!" I gasped.

"Shana, I did not mean this." He insisted. "What I meant was something like Umm... an innocent date

between friends where you can't say no to anything." He explained.

"Have you completely lost your mind?" Why would I agree to this?

"Nah! I'm perfectly fine why? Didn't you say you'd rather do anything instead of meeting Cinnamon?"

He shot back.

"I didn't exactly say that but if you try anything, I'll cut your limbs."

"Does this mean you said yes?" He smiled widely. Damn this disarming smile!

"Yeah!" I breathed heavily.

"Yay! Let's go." He caught my wrist and started running. This felt like part of a movie! So unreal. Did

this guy really like plain boring Elena? "We need to get jackets." He said as we got into his car.

"Why a jacket! It's so hot." I argued.

"Don't you dare disobey me!" I gave him a dirty look but said no more.

Just one day Eli, hang in there for only one day

We went to the shop and got damn heavy winter jackets. He was surely a psycho

When we were back to the car, I decided I was going to argue just for the heck of it.

"Where are we going?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He replied.

"Why not tell me?" He didn't reply. "Okay, I'll guess then." I waited for a second, he didn't budge. "Are

we going to the north pole?" I asked. I was going wild with this. "Kidnap a penguin? Is that why you

didn't want me to ask questions?" I said with wide eyes. "You kidnapper." I squinted my eyes.

"Shana, I'm not going to the north pole."

"South Pole then?" I giggled. He sighed but the smile that played on his lips told me he was anything

but exasperated.

"Is your imagination always running like this?" Ron said raising one of his eyebrows. Would I be

considered a psycho if I said he looked so hot when he did that? Of course yes! Why would I even ask

such a stupid question? Ugh! "We're here!" He said after a few minutes.

"An ice rink! I don't even know how to skate!" I said. My experience with skating was like so freaking

bad!

"But Sky mentioned something about you being a great dancer and wanting to be a cheerleader."

You're so big-mouthed, Sky! "So, you'll do good." He said getting out of the car. I didn't want to go. Why

did I ever agree to this?!

Putting on the skates, I took a deep breath.

I could do this!

I could do this!

I could do this!

Oh, bloody hell. I couldn't do this!

"I won't say no but can I watch a bit?" I jutted my lower lip out.

"Okay!" He chuckled.

Phew! Saved!

He bent his knees and moved his body with easy strokes. Soon, both skates were parallel to one

another, pointing the same angle, making him go farther and faster down the rink. He then balanced on

either foot, making the sport look easy.

Maybe I could really do this!

He took longer and long strokes, one foot after the other. Advancing toward me again. He looked free

as a bird, holding his arms out and smiling.

He stopped right in front of me holding his hand out for me to take.

I took his hand, trusting his skills. He held me close, I decided securing my arms around his neck would

be the best option. That way, we'd dance and he wouldn't drop me. No matter what!

We danced and swayed like swans. Well, his dancing was graceful while I was struggling!

"Your second task, as my slave, is to go grocery shopping with me," Ron said as we moved towards

the exit and to his car.

"You're kidding?" I giggled.

"No, I really need to go shopping!" He said with a smile on his lips.

On our way there, he kept making fun of my outfit, Tommy said I look good in it. Why couldn't that idiot

be a bit like him?

When we started shopping, he was just too hard to please. He'd look at the things and smell them one

by one until he finds the most perfect ones.

I didn't have a problem with that, but I did have a problem with carrying stuff while he's taking too long

to finish shopping. I was feeling like a little puppy following its owner everywhere.

"Should I carry them?" He purred. This text is property of Nô/velD/rama.Org.

"Nah, they're too heavy for your scrawny arms." I purred back.

"You didn't!" He said looking surreal.

"Ron, don't!" I warned him.

"Remember this, three... two..." That moment when you face the reactions of your actions.

I ran with the grocery bags in my hands. Why was I running? What was the worst that could happen?

I stopped. "Let's get to your car."

"Do you think you're saved like this?" He raised a brow.

"Yup!" I said plopping the P. "Now let's go." I grinned opening the door.

"Do you even know where we're going?" He smirked. Huh?

"No. But you do." I adjusted my ponytail. "So that should be enough!" I shrugged. His smirk was

making me uneasy.

"We'll spend some alone time at my apartment." He winked.

Oh hell no!

"You bloody pervert!"

"Your mind is always running wild. We'll eat there!" He smirked again. "What did you think we would do

there, huh?" I blushed.

The rest of the ride was pretty short. About four minutes of awkward silence. The moment he parked

the car, I sprinted out of it. That confined space was playing with my brain.

"Here!" Ron said getting the bags out of the car and heading to his apartment.

He opened the door and walked a few steps while I closed the door behind us. He turned around

abandoning the bags to the ground.

"So, tell me, Shana," He said turning around to face me. "What we're you thinking about when I said

we'd go to my house?" I gulped.

Was it getting hot here?

He took a step forward. Yup, it was getting hotter!

I made the cliché mistake of taking a step back making him smirk. To my bad luck, my back was just

stuck to the door. There was no space to retreat backwards to.

And why wasn't he stopping?

"Nice apartment," I said trying to sound casual but only making it worse. I flushed; embarrassed by my

own voice. I looked anywhere but at his face.

This was so damn embarrassing!

His apartment did look good in a modern style. There were musical instruments everywhere.

"Thank you, but don't think we're done on this matter." I nodded; not trusting my voice again. He picked

up the bags again and headed to the kitchen.

I tried to calm my breathing before I followed. When I got there, he was holding a knife...

I closed my eyes at the sight of the knife. It always triggered memories.

Taking a step back, I saw it all over again.

Him carving the scar on my leg over and over and over. My pain mixed with my screaming. My eyes

dry and burning.

I couldn't show him this side of me.

I would show no one!

Ever!
