I could not believe it when he offered to have just 45% share for $1 million. His offer was certainly one of the best offers because others requested equal tight ownership.

Emily POV

I sat down in the sitting room watching my favorite telenovela when I heard the sound of my Dad’s car.

I smiled anxiously waiting for him to enter the room. When he entered the house, I noticed something different with him. He wore a big smile, one that I have not seen for the last two years.

“Welcome Dad, what is the source of all this joy?” I asked him truly wanting to share in his joy

“I have finally found the solution to our company’s major problem” my Dad said to me, beaming with a smile all over his face.

“Wow, I am so happy, Dad. Tell me more about this” I said to him

“sit down my dear” he said to me affectionately as a father would do to his little angel

I sat down anxiously waiting for what my Dad had to say.

“I had a strange visitor today who intended to have some shares again” he started

“not again” I said looking sad.

“This person is totally different because he asked for a fair share and he is offering about $1million in total,” my Dad said.

“what was his demand” I asked my dad hoping he will give me a different answer

“he demanded for only 45% share and erm… well he also likes you” my dad said to me obviously satisfied with the bargain

“Oh dad what’s this? how well do you know this guy, 45% is a lot, with the fact that there’s more debt, and now he likes me, I hope it’s not what I am thinking” I asked my dad not feeling too optimistic about this

“Who? that proud bastard” I said standing up

“Emily, never use such words in front of me again, and never with that attitude, also do you know him?” My dad said angrily

“Am sorry, but I can’t marry a stranger, Dad, I know him but he is not what I know him to be, all over the internet, he is a good person but the Alex Pierce I met was like a thug” I said in defense

“The you I know is a gentle girl, the you a minute before now is a thug” my dad said

“Okay”, I said as he seems satisfy, soon my mum walked in, and I told her how I have to marry a guy I don’t know to keep the company

“Getting to know him is not the issue but if I say no, then you will have to agree with me”. I said conclusively

“Yes, sure, why not ?” My mum said while my dad stretched his card to me

“Well I will talk to you later, I want to submit a file to my dad for approval…” I said

Opening the door I could see the back of a dashing young man, seated in my dad’s office

“I’m sorry for the other day, I am Alex Pierce, and I am a business man” he said as he stretched his hands to me
