The Girlboss Begs for Remarriage

Chapter 1435

Roman never once looked in the direction of his fangirls, waved, or smiled at them.

In fact, he was scowling and clearly grumpy, even as the fangirls kept screaming.

"Oh, he just looked at me! He did!"

"Shut up! He was looking at me!"

"Say that again, I double dare you!"

The scene collapsed into pandemonium, and some of the fangirls were even tussling because of that.

Frank stood in the distance, shocked.

If Kat became a star someday, with fanboys chanting like that...

He felt a chill down his spine and decided once again to kill the idea in its crib.

Getting to a quiet place, he called Noel.

"Hello."

Noel's voice was languid, seemingly having just gotten out of bed. "Where are you, Ms. York?"

"Me?"

Noel was at a loss but soon came to her senses and giggled. "I'm in Riverton."

"What? Aren't you in Morhen for filming?"

"Oh. I finished my parts last night, so I left. Kat has some parts left, but she'll be done in the afternoon."

"Oh."

Frank nodded and chuckled. "I'd like to see her work. How do I get in?"

"Easy. I'll call the production crew," Noel replied cheerfully.

Soon after Frank hung up, the security guards who had just chased him away were running toward him panic showing on his face as exclaimed, "I'm so sorry, Mr.

Lawrence! We didn't know verine

Noel York's friend. Do come in."

While the security guards were endlessly humble as if they were completely different people, they were also inwardly complaining.

Why could these big shots not give a heads-up before coming over? And this one had to dress so casually and not bring a single bodyguard... it was just ridiculous.

Moreover, Noel said over the phone that Frank was her friend and boss, the latter which was a position the security guards did not dare imagine.

They could only apologize, hoping that Frank would not press the issue.

Frank, however, took no notice.

He looked around, and found the pedestrians and the fangirls who just insulted him were all staring at him in shock.

He really was Noel York's friend?

Soon, embarrassment showed on their faces, and some were even afraid to look Frank in the eye.Content is property of NôvelDrama.Org.

Meanwhile, as the security guards lead Frank into the film set, they had not ventured that far when he heard a bellow. "Where's Noel York?! Why isn't she here?!"

Frank did a double take, and turned to see that it was Roman Xinder, the handsome youth from before, shouting.

His face was flushed, and he was glaring fiercely at the director, who appeared helpless. "She has already finished her parts, Mr. Xinder, and we have a binding contract. We can't make her stay!"

"And I told you to add more parts for her!" Roman bellowed, slamming his hand on the table. "She left before it's done?!"

"Well..." Alfred Moran, the director, could only murmur awkwardly.
