Chapter 1090
Molly's tears came easily, and before she knew it, they were spilling down her cheeks. "You've got to come see me. If you don't, that's it for us."
Leo sighed, "Alright."
Meanwhile, Mia gently woke her son, who was still deep in his dreams, and scooped him up from his cozy bed. She carried him to the bathroom, helping him with his morning routine, and freshened up his little face. "We're heading out too, off to the office to catch up with your dad.
By April 10th, Molly was wearing the hospital's telltale patient wristband, and true to his word, Leo showed up that evening.
As the due date of April 13th loomed with no action, Molly's nerves were fraying. Nightmares kept jolting her awake, leaving her drenched in sweat and anxiety.
Mia, ever the supportive sister, made daily trips to the hospital, her concern growing with each visit. She sat her husband down for a chat, "Honey, you'll be bunking with our son for a bit. I'm going to stay with Molly at the hospital. I've put all of Henry's essentials-shampoo, towel, lotion, and baby powder-in the white basket. Make sure you scrub him well during bath time, especially in those adorable chubby spots like his neck, armpits, and thighs. Alright, I'm heading out." And with that, she was off to the hospital in the dead of night.
Having Mia around was a balm to Molly's frazzled nerves.
The hospital room was cramped, with just enough room for Chad and Mia to stay.
Back at the Cedillo home, Andre was pacing with their wailing son in his arms, trying every trick in the book to calm him down. "How about we go see Mia at the hospital tomorrow, huh? Mommy's with your aunt tonight. Be a good little guy, okay? You're the best."
But Henry's cries were relentless, his longing for his mom pulling at everyone's heartstrings.
Andre, not usually known for his patience, found himself softening as he watched his son. Instead of snapping, he gently wiped away the tears and whispered soothing words, patting his son's back until he finally drifted off.
Once Henry was asleep, Andre felt it was safe to video call his wife.
Mia stood in a hospital corridor, phone in hand, "Hey, is our little man asleep?"
"He cried himself out after a good half hour. Just look at him," Andre said, turning the camera to capture their son's cherubic cheeks. "Can you betjeve all that fuss comes from someone so small? I swear, half his weight must be tears."
Mia's heart ached hearing about her son's distress. "Why didn't you me sooner? Letting him cry could strain his little

Andre shrugged, "We can't just give in every time he cries. We have to teach him."
Mia rolled her eyes, "He's just a baby! Make sure he sleeps close to you, not at the edge of the bed."noveldrama
Andre swung the camera back to himself, "See, I'm holding him close. Why aren't you asleep?"
Mia glanced towards Molly's room, "Molly just nodded off."
"She's scared again?"
Mia nodded, "It's the 18th already, and still nothing. She's really on edge."
The couple chatted a bit longer before ending the call.
As the due date came and went with no baby in sight, the family's tension mounted. Molly's anxiety was contagious, spreading through the family as each day ticked by without any sign of labor.
