Sweet Mischief’s Rollercoaster Romance

Chapter 1088

Leo was gearing up for the big university exams, while Bruce was all over the place at work, and tossing and turning every night. Over at the office, Andre just couldn't stop hitting refresh on the university's acceptance list.

A few days later, when he finally spotted "Leo" on the list, Anya was over the moon. She tackled Leo onto their bed, squealing, "Chad, you nailed it! I knew you were the best in the world!"

The Cedillo family was just as ecstatic. Mia and Molly were high-fiving like crazy, and Mia yelled, "Naomi, Dad, Leo got in!"

Andre leaned back in his chair, a grin spreading across his face, finally feeling that sweet relief. Meanwhile, the government building, Bruce breathed a huge sigh of relief and texted his son: "Son, you're incredible."

Anya couldn't wait to tell her parents, "Mom, Dad, my Chad passed the big university exams!"noveldrama

Mr. Calder chuckled at the news, "That kid's something else. I thought he was too busy dating Anya to get into university this year. But wow, he did it, and it's a top one!"

While waiting for the official acceptance letter, Anya dragged Leo around to thank all sorts of deities. Leo had no clue that Anya had been praying to every god imaginable before the exams. "Chad, now you've got to make good on those promises," she teased.

"You little witch, you really know your stuff," Leo laughed.

"Of course, I do," Anya said, puffing her cheeks.

"Did you mess up any of them this time?"

Anya shook her head confidently, "I was super careful, didn't get a single one wrong."

Leo pulled Anya in for a hug, but she immediately pushed his arms away, her stern look somehow adorable. "Chad, this is a sacred place. No hugging or snuggling here."

Leo just sighed, "..."

Meanwhile, Mia and Jamie got some great news too-Denny had made it through. Jamie was over the moon, even more than if he'd passed himself.

"Mia, where are you guys? I'm in Havenbrook and brought the materials for you," Jamie called.

At the Havenbrook Library, Denny showed up with his backpack. After months apart, Jamie's admiration for him was as strong as ever.

"Denny, congrats!"

Denny set down two stacks of materials, "The left one's for you, and the right's for Mia. I prepped

these since last year after the exams, but I held off giving them to

swnow

you right away, didn't want tojinx it."

Some classmates from their prep course wanted to buy Denny's notes, even offering over a thousand dollars. Denny simply said, "I gave them to someone else."

That "someone else" was Jamie and Mia.

"Denny, how are we ever gonna repay you? Your notes could sell for a fortune, and you just gave them to us?"

"I don't need the money, and I wanted you guys to have them." Denny opened the notebook, explaining, "Red is for key points, green for extra stuff, black for

basics, purple for..."

After giving his rundown, Denny left them to study in peace.

Watching him walk away, Jamie turned to see Mia's bright smile. Feeling a little overwhelmed, Mia said,

"We've got to hustle if we want to keep up with him."

Jamie nodded, picked up his pen, and dove back into studying.

Henry grew up with his grandpa, not because they were super close, but because sometimes you just turn your back for a second, "Grandson, don't dig up that tree with your toy excavator; that's one your grandpa had flown in from Australia."
